49,300 miles...Minor electrical glitches. Need to fix a hose connected to supercharger...$12 hose...
Other than that I love the car. Handles very well, surprises people when I tell them it's a 1.8L 4 cylinder...

2006 C230 SS, 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1993 Ford F150 Lightning
I bought my 2006 C230 SS (new) back in December 2006. It now has 4,874 miles on it. For some reason, it still seems like a new car.

65k and in need of motor mounts
Well, I just reached 65 k miles and I think I'm in need of new motor mounts,
Does anyone happen to have the part numbers for the M271 , 1.8 engine.
Thanks in advance.

2002 c230 Kompressor Coupe
I have 118,000KM on my 02 C230 Kompressor Coupe. I put over 70,000KM on it in 2 years. I drove it across Canada twice, and used it to go back and forth to work (I work all over Alberta...sometimes doing 700KM trips each way)
I still have the original shocks...but they are blown now. Also, at about 85,000KM my tranny went...but it was under warranty.

87K+ miles on an '01 320....no leave-you-stranded problems but too many take-it-to-the-dealer warranty problems (and some out of warranty) to list. Still feels solid and drives great. Best driving car I have owned, and worst reliability (when bought new). Probably hold onto it for a few more years but looking at other brands constantly. For me a car is transportation first....problems only detract from that equation.

My 2001 C240 bought new on June, 2001 by my mother has 29,000 miles. We drive about 3400 miles per year on this car. This car has always and will always be dealer serviced. I have not replaced parts like the MAF and crank shaft position sensor yet. Before joining this forum I did not even know about these issues. I always considered this car to be reliable.
I also own a 1990 Toyota Celica ST and 1990 Honda Civic EX both bought new and still used as beaters for commuting to work in New York City traffic. I plan to move to southern California when I retire in about 2017. I hope my W203 will still be with me at that time so we can make the trip across the country together and enjoy the southern Cali lifestyle.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Now I have 135K miles and it drives and rides great (once all the bugs were fixed). My AC shuts off randomly as well and I haven't found any suggestions on what to look for. I'm happy enough with it now that I'll keep it as a second car when I buy another next year. Been looking at the 1Series.

I have had my c230 for just about one year I got the car
with 34000 miles currently it has 52600 my car has been in and out of the
dealer so much I had the head replaced the cam sensors I got
a whole new trans they replace a bunch of bushings on my car as well
but I must say with all the problems I've had I only noticed the cAR had
issues after searching the forums for common problems. And what make me
willing to stay with a mb is the fact I never had any hassles with my service and every time I got my car back problem solved the dealer never hassled me shot any of the warranty work ever

What was the issue? carbon build up on the valve guides?
