How many miles or kms have you clocked your W203 ?
Just a short poll for all of you owners how many miles/kms have you clocked..
and how old is your car ?
And one last question, do you intend to keep it for that long (like what Mom and Dad) used to keep their Merc for 10+ years ? If not, what is your next car, still a Merc ?
(i know your probably looking for replies though from members with higher mileage).i have a 15k a year 39 month lease so that's how long i'm keeping it, then back into another BMW.
i intend to switch cars at the end of my lease, prob stay with Merc, but we'll see!
Funny about parents holding on to cars, my father rides in a W124 '90 E Class. he loves it, but its stock. He also has 400SEL i think i cant remember.

My next car will probably be the 08 C-Class or an SLK.

I don't see any problem with getting 100K clicks on the car with normal maintenance and a few brake jobs.
I have 11,,000 miles on my wagon, and not a single problem beyond fog in the fog lights when delivered. They replaced the complete assemblies, and gave a free C240 loaner. The free carwash, back massage, and beverages at the dealer are not bad either. I bought the car because I expect 150,000 miles out of it. If the wheels fall off, I'll send a minion to fetch them, and put them back on!
I see you're in Canada, where I understand that the Honda Element comes with a heated rear window, standard. It sure keeps your hands warm in the winter when you are pushing it!
but the new IS250/350 is so tempting...
My Element is a shop/workshop more than a vehicle.

I have more than that on my 05! But Johnny's stats make me feel kinda better...
I got my 05 in August of last year (04) and it now has 17820 miles.
Problems:
Hmm...
peeling center console (replaced twice)
rattling console (not fixed)
rattling speaker (fixed)
flickering BIX (still not fixed)
leaky tranny
H/K Audio issues (fixed hopefully)
lots of stone chips in the front, the new paint is soft
now, rough idling and check engine light
My w202 which I had for 7 years and put 70k miles on didn't have this many issues.
I really like the car, it handles well and is a lot more fun to drive than my w202... but in terms of reliability, I dunno.
