I got one of the replacement lcd's from the group buy a few years ago. It didn't last a year before it started fading again. Now anytime it's over ~90F you can't hardly read anything. I really wish there was a good replacement out there...

2007 c280 4MATIC just hit 230,000 km (150,000 miles)
I just hit the 150,000-mile bench mark last week. I'm certainly going for the 250,000 km badge (Canada), but still haven't decided if I should go for the 500,000 km one. Has anyone reached it yet with a 4MATIC?

2005 C240 4Matic. 295,000 miles. Done as of today. Exhaust, oil light, stepper motor, rust, rough idol and other things. Not worth fixing and it is going up for sale. Hands down other then my w126/w123's it has been to most reliable car I have ever owned.

256k miles and still running great. Just did the ALCAN as well!
Original motor, original trans. Slips between 3rd and 4th after a recent trans fluid/filter change I just did, and the valve cover gasket leaks a little bit. Other than some suspension parts, two hid ballasts, and a crankshaft position sensor I've had to replace, everything else is original and operating perfectly. Easily the most reliable car I've ever owned. Planning an engine/trans/suspension rebuild, and new header back exhaust kit. I'm thinking she'll run another 250k, with some added hp! Keep your w203's! They're a treasure.

Currently sitting at 126,786 miles on my 05' C230 SS 6MT. Recently did quite some work on her myself, which was much needed...
1. New Bosch Alternator & new battery. A lot of threads out there recommended changing out the regulator on the existing Alternator. I'd say, if you're going to remove that sucker altogether, you might as well replace it entirely.
2. All new Brembo rotors and Brake Pads.
3. Fresh Oil Change with Liqui Moly engine flush, Mobil 1 0w40 with the addition of Liqui-Moly CeraTec friction modifier.
4. Fixed both left/right side mirror LED signals.
Car is purring like a kitten.

My 2003 4matic wagon has 151,6xx miles. I bought it at around 135k last year. So far, I've only replaced the radiator fan and the tensioner pulley (bearing seized and the plastic pulley melted - while I was driving on the freeway at 80 mph). I'd have to go check the service records to see what the previous owner did, but I think I'm only the 2nd or 3rd owner, and I haven't done anything else other than what I mentioned. Everyone I know has a bad impression about Mercedes for some reason, and don't believe me when I say that they're reliable.
Things I know I need to replace soon: I have had intermittent issues with my crankshaft position sensor (or at least I did over the summer, Vegas gets hot! I only had issues a few times after driving for a while in the summer and the engine gets really hot. If I didn't let it cool down enough before trying to start it again, it would just sit there and try to start but would just crank). I have the new crankshaft sensor but I haven't had any issues with the current one, so I'm holding off as I need to order some tools to do it. My coolant level sensor doesn't work, or that's what I was told when I had it checked by a Euro shop, so I get coolant error messages sometimes. I'm thinking of replacing the radiator to avoid the possible leak issues that the earlier W203's had. I haven't noticed any of the symptoms of coolant getting into the transmission, but I'd rather only pay for a new radiator now instead of a new transmission in the future!

OK, I am going the other way, with the least km done!
I recently bought my c230K due to the low mileage, and have been very happy with its performance, so far!..

250k km
Finally earned my first MB high mileage award.
Car still runs great other than a minor suspension squeak and some oil consumption (1L every ~2000 km). Pretty much no rust at all.
Local dealership had never heard of this award program before. Receptionist gave me a blank look, then tried to locate a sales guy The SA who verified my mileage said the highest example he had seen around here was ~300k km on an E class, which was traded in not long after.
Looking forward to many more years with this car, as well as the nice shiny grille badge.

Gee, mine looks a lot like yours, except it's MILES. Working on Mileage award #2.
Very close to starting the head gasket project. M111 was finally leaking so bad (after 100K miles of slow leak)
into the engine compartment, it soaked the cabin air filter, fogged the windshield, and
well probably will fry my kidneys if I keep driving it, so it's time. Funny though, it's running great!
Been researching and getting up on what to do.
So many great resources now, I feel fairly confident. Knock on wood.
I'll be posting on that once I start.
