Thanks...for some reason my LED tails have been flickering and only one side....I even tried my brand new spare set and same thing...My stock tails work fine now, but It must have something to do with the voltage or the LEDs, and I'm thinking that harness they sell with a resistor in it would do the trick, but I don't really care to get it. So I might be selling a set of LED tails to get the non-LED....
I think I can do without the LED, but the look of the S tails wins over stock for sure

I still have them, but I can't remember if I cut off the sockets to use them for the lighting conversion (rear running lights w/ functioning rear fog).

Lol and I'm responding to this four years later. Definitely thinking about doing it. Wondering if prices have significantly dropped since everyone did theirs in 2006.

So I have a question for the people who have the NON-LED version of these. I'm just ASSUMING that I can take the bulbs out of the stock tail lights(2002) and plug them straight into the new ones, right? I will be picking some of these off ebay within a few months(specifically, these ).
But, assuming is always a bad idea...
And if anyone has experience with another seller of the same product, please link me. I want to make sure I get the 1 with the best chance of working and fitting right. I also found these as the same-looking product from different seller... I just want to know who's the best
Thanks in advance.

I have the smoked non-led version. To be frank, I think the all sellers are pretty much selling the same product made from 1 mfr if they look the same in the pics.
I think some of the stock c55 bulbs are 'flat based' while all ebay ones you listed (and the one I have) all use round-based bulbs. But that should be relatively easy to fix, get new bulbs as needed.
The harder part is the 7 to 6pin connector swap you will need to do. If you don't know what I'm talking about, start from page 1 of this thread. I had to do it to get mine working. You will lose rear-fog light functionality(but who uses that anyway).
