W203 older spec "volume in tank" coding works

It needs to be set with a developer type DAS. Regular MB mechanics do not have that. MBenzNL and benzmodz do and/or have access to it. I agree it would be nice to be able to see that.

gallons/liters is a variable parameter just like kilometer/miles...so yes, it can display gallons

Someone in the USA might be able to confirm the actual display when coded. As far as I know it is selectable deep inside the diagnostic but it helps if you have the latest cluster. The closer to 2005 your car is the better.

I sometimes think that the W203 forum, should really be separated by Model Year.
2001-2004
and
2005-2006
Too many differences ! Despite the same chassis.
It would definitely slow down the amount of idiotic questions, as of late.
