First off id like to thank every1 here u guys have some SICK cars.....and im just damn redic jealous of btw.... 2nd off all i really wanna do is get new exterior lights on my car....i know i searched for 5 hrs within the past day and read a ton of threads but still cannot find what i want. Of course i want the headlights city lights and fog lights to all match. Isnt that what every1 wants?! So im guessing after all that ive read the crystal visions are the best?! And i went to the binnian or whatever that guys name is and he sells bmw crap....i know im gonna get flamed hard for this question but im in one of those moods that i just got my 06 blk blk c230 sport and i just want the right info to get my lights....and i cant stop thinkin bout gettin it! ever get in that kinda mood?
As far as i know here is what i have 2 my knowledge....
my headlights = h7
city lights =w5w bulb?
fogs=9006
side mirror blinkers=2723

now of course i just wanna run 2 my nearest strauss or pepboys and get whatever they have and hope it looks good so what brank should i get / and should i go 2 a specific site or to my nearest store?! Plz help out if you have a chance THANKS AGAIN!

Though I haven't bought them for my new benz yet, my last car had PIAA super (or platinum) white bulbs....they were slightly more white than yellow....nice and clear + bright. Just a thought. Good pair of em will run you $79 though.

WELCOME TO MBWORLD!

I'm assuming you've got the halogen headlights and not the BIX. Now, I'm not quite sure what you are asking for, but from reading what you posted it seems like you are trying to find bulbs that will match the best. Somewhat hard to believe that you weren't able to find any conclusive information via search, but I'll take your word for it and help you out:

#1 What's your budget?
- Reason I ask this is that different manufacturers have different price ranges. if you don't mind spending the money, I would suggest going with PIAA for your headlights and fog lights.
- Silverstars are good and if you really want to get what will match without having an overly "blue" bulb/light, this would probably be a very good option (and less expensive than PIAA's)

Bulb numbers:
- The bulb numbers you got are correct, however the side mirror blinkers bulbs are not bulbs you'll want to replace (unless you're skilled at taking apart light housings and replacing LED bulbs). Besides, you've got an '06, so the side-mirror blinkers look nice already.
- City lights are definitely w5w (which is a 194 bulb). w5w just indicates that this is a wedge (w) 5 watt (5w) bulb. The size is 194/168 etc... i.e. wedge bulb
- Sidemarker bulbs (if you replace them) are 194 as well

All-in-all, seems like your best bet would be to go with Silverstar headlights and Fogs. As for the wedge bulb (city lights), you'll have a VERY hard time finding a matching bulb (no matter what). Since it is such a low wattage, the light from the bulb will never be up to "spec". BlakeP and I both have PIAA bulbs, however we both also have BI-X (Bi-xenon) headlights and the PIAA's are the closest anybody can get to matching (unless you do an LED conversion with a load equalizer/stabilizer).

BTW...you can pick up Sylvania Silverstars at Pepboys or Autozone or Kragen (any of those auto stores).

also i just got back from strauss....they had philips, visionplus? both h7 and 9006 for the fogs..... whattya think those or silverstars for my benz??

I couldn't tell you for sure, since I've got BI-X, but a lot of people seem to have gone with Silverstars over Phillips.

Quick suggestion, put your car stats in your signature or profile so that nobody has to ask you what type model w203 you have, what year, etc...

welcome artur! one lighting thing i did do for my car that i really liked is these silver bulbs that light up amber for my corners and my front blinkers (haven't bought them for the rear yet).. it really clears up the look and it no longer looks like a fried egg lol unfortunately i'm on my laptop right now so this is the only picture i could find that u can kinda see what i'm talkin about. the clear corner there has no amber in it whatsoever when u look at it during the day but when i turn it on, it lights up amber same with the blinkers although the angle is a little off so u can't really tell..

bixenon is really the way to go though. maybe one day i'll go bix, until then, my car came with HID's so that will have to do :p anyway, i've actually officially dubbed these next few weeks to lighting projects (except for drex's lorinser-style roof wing!! haha ).. plan on getting an hid foglight kit, these super bright blue bulbs for the parking light (i don't even know what kind it is, but my friend has them for his e55 so he's going to get me a set ), and indiglo door sills. i might even go real crazy and get those brabus under-body lights that lorinsercclass and widew203 have! haha can't wait!

anyway artur, i just wanted to give u some ideas from a fellow modder let me know what you think and what you're planning on doing for your lighting issues :p post some pictures up! welcome to the forum once again

Just order a pair of PIAA 194 LED lights bulb with 5500K ! Try to match my 6000K head lights. check it out:

also i was @ homedepot and i was gonna get PAINT FOR PLASTIC SPRAY PAINT (black) and i didnt know what clearcoat (as i searched previously on the forums) to get....i didnt see a clearcoat there....i saw a reflective spray there.

For the city lights (w5w/194/168), you have several options. If you don't want to hassle with tapping in a load equalizer/stabilizer to make the city lights LED, I suggest going with a PIAA bulb (Extreme White). Since you have halogen bulbs, you might want to try the (Super White). If you are up for it and have the proper tools, go with LED 194's (they have applications with 4/6/9 LED's integrated into one 194 bulb) and you MUST tap in a load stabilizer/equalizer in order for this to work properly.

As for the front blinkers, these are a little bit different. Certain 2004.5 and before front blinkers are 1156 bulbs. Other 2004.5 and up MY (Model Year)'s have P21/5 (2357) bulbs. Either way you go, I'd suggest going with the chrome bulb with the amber filament. This way, there are no traces of orange in the headlamp, but it still emmits an amber turn signal when blinking. I'm figuring, since you have a newer model, you'll have the 2357 bulbs. You can find these on Bekkers online or even better, contact one of our many sponsors to see if they can get these.
