C230 ss mods

I picked up my new 2005 C230 ss a couple of weeks ago. I also bought the 5yr/100k mile warranty. I love the car but as always I want more power. I've read alot of threads on mods but not to clear on what mods are the best. The main thing is that what ever mods I do I dont want to void my manufactures warranty. I checked out both web sites for Kleemans http://www.kleemannusa.com/ and Renntech [http://www.renntechmercedes.com/pdf/W203.PDF[/URL] . I am looking to do a performance kit upgrade by either company. Renntech looks likes like it will not void my warranty and has the mods for the 2005 c230 ss(w203) I cant seem to find Kleemans mods for this car, but a authories rep where i live (Long Island, NY) says they have it. I am not sure about whether my warranty will be void. I would be doing the ECU upgrade and the s/c pully from either company. 209 H/P & 219 torque (Renntech). Can anybody tell me if its worth it. Will my car still ride and sound like mercedes. Will I keep the same amazing gas milage.

I have been researching but it seems like everyone is talking in circles. If someone knows if the ECU unit has to be stock before putting on a bigger super charger pully, then why dont they say that. Ive spend many days and nights reearching this forum and let me tell you the more you read the less you learn on what to do.

Changing the supercharger pulley is a place to start modding so if no one has talked about the ECU and this..there's probably a good reason why.

Here's some free advice:

1) Have someone that know's a thing or two about cars help you search the forum, since like I said, newbie mods like chips, pulley's, headers, etc. have all been discussed to death in many past threads

or

2) Break out the checkbook, contact Kleemann, Renntech, Evosport, etc. and tell them what you want in terms of power. They'll take care of the rest..

I already contacted both companys and they have some good mods, but yes they are pricey, but then again it is a mercedes. I was just trying to find out which companys mods were actually better and proven results. It seems like nobody wants to spend the $2,000+ on these mods. I guess I will be the first. I am kinda leaning towards Renntech. Either way I will post my results.
Thanks Again

So how accurate are Renntech and Kleemans dyno test resluts. I like the torque increase, but are they so or just numbers. I am will to spend the money for the increases the say the do.

It seems like this forum is not interested in that I said I would let them know how my results are with either Kleemans or Renntech mods but more concerned about threads being repeated or not searched properly. To the ones out there that are actually curious on these mods I will keep you posted. Until then please do ou research the proper way!

I'm also a victim of posting a thread or two that has been discussed over and over again. It's easy to ask for a quick reply if you're not willing to search but there are tons of posts on modding our model car. You and I are the same boat that everyone's in as far as the c230 ss. Believe me dude, keep searching. Mig888 and amdeutsch have tons of posts on this topic.
