How to put C55 spoiler on!?
Hey guys, i have a question about how to put a c55 spoiler on to my car...what are the neccessary steps to it? like prepping? what tape do i use? what should i do after puttin the lip onto the trunk, should i not drive for a while?

If it's from the factory, then it should have the adhesive tape already on it. The MB factory does a real nice job with the adhesive since it is all die cut to fit the contours of the wing perfectly. They even have some pull tabs on it.
When I had mine installed, the body shop prepped the trunk surface with a wax remover/degreaser. They then peeled back the release liner from the tape and carefully applied it to the car.
I also believe that the factory wing has some screw bosses in it as well if you wanted to drill through your trunk and screw it down... i opted not to do this.

3M tapes. clean the surface of which you'll be puttin the spoiler on. spray 50/50 windex/water solution on that surface and put on the spoiler so you can adjust it if it's a little off. leave the car in garage for at least 12hr to let dry. clamp the sides if you wish, some find it necessary to keep the side down.
