Do I have a evolution sports package on my C230K sedan?
I have a 2004 C230Kompressor Sedan. How do I know if I have the evolution sports package? On the side of my car on the moldings is written sport and I also have the 17 wheels. The reason I ask is I cannot find rotors or pads for my car anywhere. It is a jan. production 04 car which means I do not use brembo's.

Just to clarify, you say you have 17" wheels, but are these the same OEM wheels that are on the 2005 and up models or are these the 17" straight multi-spoke rims?
My car was a January production car, but I have the 2004.5 with the 17" staggered 5 spoke wheels (that are standard OEM on all w203 sport models)currently). I've also got the AMG cross-drilled rotors w/ AMG 4 piston calipers (except mine just say Mercedes-Benz, not AMG - same part though). Those are the only 2 differences between 2004 and 2004.5 models.
You say you don't have brembo's, but are you saying that based on assumption or because your brakes in the front are smaller rotors and calipers than other models you've seen?

I do not have the floor mats that say evolution. My rims look the same as yours as the rear tires are definitely larger(245) so I cannot rotate. My rotors are cross drilled and have four bolts on the calipers. I cannot see brembo on any part of the braking system.

hey drex,
We have the same exact car. So we have AMG brakes which means we have AMG rotors? Where do you get AMG rotors? Stealership wants 270 a set for the front. Any alternatives?

Now, your options depend on whether you want to go with OEM or aftermarket. I believe the OEM pads were made by PAGID and now they're made by JURID. I'm not positive on that, so it's best you do a search on the forums for "brake pads" and you should find more information (as it's been discussed several times).
I had to replace my fronts, but ended up replacing all 4 (just so I wouldn't have to mess with it later on). I still had 30% in the rear, but went with Porterfield brake pads this time.
Hope that leads you in the right direction, but definitely update your profile to say you have a 2004.5. It'll help when asking for information in the future.

Full brake job on my car is 577. Rotors alone are 270. I was just looking for a place to buy a set of rotors for hopefully cheaper then 270. I was actually planning on doing the brake change myself.

Sorry....577 is just for the front brake rotors and pads. My rears still have 60-70% on them. I need to find the front rotors and pads so I can do the change out. Any ideas?
