C320 Sport Sedan 4MATIC, Cayenne S, Bayliner Capri V8, Subaru STi
you're willing to spend $30 K..... for a 2nd hand car...

hmmm.... lets see...

Here brand new:

2006 Dodge Charger

MSRP: $22,320 - $29,320
City Mileage: 17-19 mpg Hwy Mileage: 25-27 mpg

Based on the Mercedes-derived platform that carries the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum, the Dodge Charger also offers a roomy interior and smooth ride.

The R/T has a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 stuffed under its hood; output is rated at 340 horses and 390 lb-ft of torque. Chargers equipped with the optional Road/Track Performance Group or Daytona R/T Package provide 10 extra horsepower in addition to stiffer suspension and stickier tires; thusly equipped, the big sedan takes just 6.2 seconds to hit 60 mph. A five-speed, shiftable automatic transmission comes standard on all models.

The SE comes with a 250-hp, 3.5-liter V6.

Nice car above but i would still get a 03 C230 over that. How much are you paying for it? You still have warranty so make sure you visit the dealership if you have any problems. DOnt be shy. Its free for you and the donuts. Owning a benz is as good as it sounds. Post pics when you buy.

About the car. I had a 2001 and now i traded in for a 2005. I enjoyed owning each of them. Good cars. Rides nice and i think they are reliable.

i don't think dogboy mentioned what he's willing to pay for the used car. just so you know some dealerships here in L.A. are giving awesome discounts on 05 C's you can get a brand spankin new for around 28, and like i said that's brand new. it might be worth the 4-5 hours trip from where you are.

I bought my car from Globel Luxury Imports in Sarasota Florida and I got a greattttttt deal on 04 C230 black on grey and the owners are great and willing to help out anyway they can to save you money. I have never delt with poeple who cared so much about thier customer. This is my option and my experiance dealing with they them not paid or anything . They just great to deal with and I live in North Carolina ,so it was alond distance deal.

At least you did not deal with Mercedes Benz of Sarasota, they are the complete opposite. They do not care about the consumer only the bottom line, profit. That goes for sales & especially servie. Avoid them at all costs. They talk a good game but when you need them they no longer know you.

Check out the service TSB's and pull the records using VIN at dealer. Make sure you aren't getting a lemon. Some people have had horrible luck with their cars, but mine has been great thus far (knock on wood.) I have only had problems with the moonroof one touch and the rear sunshade getting stuck sometimes. Minor problems since I don't see it as a problem to hold down button to manually close moonroof, and since I never use rear sunshade because I am never out and about during the day. I have just hit 51K miles and I was planning on trading in the car when my extended warranty runs out in 6 months, but now I am thinking of keeping the car until she starts to give me problems. Best of luck

alright blingy... if performance is what you're interested in, as far as value for the price, someone on here raced one with their c-class and kept up with it and couldn't figure out why. i'm not even going to question the quality of dodge, b/c we all know that its sub-par.

i ended up doing some elementary calculations to show how the aerodynamics on that thing is so poorly designed... that it NEEDS 340 hp to keep up. and thats just a straightaway...

Don't do it!

Hey Dogboy...just a heads up. Do NOT buy it...the reliability is just not there and neither is the support from Benz. Trust me I own one! It will be my ONLY one!!!

If you are talking about having Sarasota MB check out a TSB for you forget it, I had the TSB in hand for my car & they refused to do it because they could not duplicate the problem. The tech also claimed that he repaired items that were still not repaired. Sarasota MB since they became Autonation is a complete bunch of ignorant phonies.

When did I mention a specific dealer? I am sorry that you feel like you have to lambast that dealer in any thread? I haven't even been to Sarasota MB.... I do know however that the North Orlando dealer is an Autonation dealer and not only did they give me the BEST deal but so far I have been treated well enough to warrant the 120 mile drive each way for service. It all depends on management with each dealer and quite frankly, there is always 2 sides to every story. If you aren't happy with the management, then you find another dealer. I have a dealer 30 mins from my house but I choose to go to North Orlando......... you should likewise choose to go elsewhere. Anyone can go to any dealer and request work history on the vehicle based on VIN and compare it to the TSB's available on this website. If they say no, then guess what....... it's not the end of the world. Just means it's time to visit another dealer.

This is the most fun I have had in ANY 2 year old resurrected thread. haha........
