coupe headroom?
Do coupe owners have any problems with headroom for the driver?
I'm 6' 2" and I took a coupe evo pan out for a test drive last Saturday. Suspension was quite firm and when I went over a few road bumps, I bashed my head against the corner pillar!
I know there is a height adjuster. But have any of you tall guys experienced problems?

This is with the height adjuster all the way down. I'd suggest another test drive with the seat down. Most people who ride in the car are amazed at the amount of headroom it has, maybe because it looks smallish from the outside.

I wear hats all the time in the car with no problem, but that was not possible on the Sun roofed demo I tested.
Can you fit a sombrero in the coupe, that's the question
Given your location a better question would be, "do Toques fit in a Coupe"

....Note the Seat is all the way back and the cushion is tilted Down at the rear ....No Problem with Bumps...YET
Your too north of the border to be worried about Sombrero's

on the drivers side roof area above the door. I mean why would the driver need one, his hands are on the wheel!
So I had it taken out.
I put the seat all the way down. The headroom is adequate. I'm 6'2 .
My head was hitting the handle that was afixed

I'm 6'3" and the Coupe has the best headroom of any car I've ever owned. I don't have the sunroof but there must be about 5-6 inches from the top of my head to the roof (the pana would only take out about 1-2 inches of this room). I have also never hit my head on the B-pillar, either.
Wow, you must have a long inseam. I am only 5' 11" and I have about 1-2 inches of headroom with the seat all the way down. On the other hand, I only have a 30" inseam, and I sit as tall as a few 6' 4" people that I know.
The correct distance for setting the seat back is to sit as far back so that your wrists rest on top of the steering wheel. This is what an instrucutor will tell you at a driving school - apparantly it gives the best leverage for operating the steering wheel.
Cheers. BT
