Here we go...BIIIG Christmas gifts! Project is underway!

Hey guys, it is finally confirmed that my benz is no longer going to fit in the norm. with all the others! I finally got all my parts for my car....have yet to install them except for the suspension but here we go! With much thanks to my own hardwork and many many many many many many months of saving this is what I was able to do for Christmas for my loved baby. I would also like to thank Alex from factoronegarage since he got me my taillights- AND since I came down with Pneumonia just 2 days ago I wasnt able to leave my house and for me to get these in time for the holidays Alex brought them to me personally...I must say I have never been so satisfied and will hands down do business again after talking to him. Honest and with no plugs/strings attached just saying how great everthing went. So let me know what you guys think, I gotta say its expensive to get feedback but Id love to hear from all of you. And I will start bringing my car to some meets up here in Irvine too soon so keep a look out

Ok so heres the goodies guys..enjoy as much as I am with these sitting next to me in my room! I swear I have never seem my room look so good before. :p
Here's the whole group- the W220 tail lights, C55 spoiler, and H&R coilovers..and i thought id throw in my shoes as well for fun

The C55 spoiler- painted color 040

H&R Coils...already installed

And here's a teaser shot untill everything is done/installed. The coils went on last saturday and this was taken as my mechanic went to test drive everything. Tucking tire in the rear on17s and 1 finger gap in the front...and still have 1/4"+ left to drop if I wish to do so (but i wont)

nice choices

i agree, Alex & Wilson from factoronegarage.com are excellent people to do business with. they actually offer lifetime warranty on those taillights. they replaced one my mine when some LED's failed to light.

The shoes are cool, as is the spoiler and the coil-over springs. You have a very nice ride. I am a bit concernred about the tail Leds. Wilson is a gentleman, and his products are great quality, but I am not convinced that the LED's used in the assembly are at the same level of quality as the rest of your car. If the tail LED's were just a fashion item like interior or parking lights, I'd say no worries mate!

The tail lights are a safety item though, and need to meet objectively measured specifications so the nudnick behind you doesn't kiss your butt, in a bad way. An engineer from Hella explained to me that the LED's for automotive use need to be very rugged to survive in the exterme vibration and temperatures of your car. The multi-led arrays must be designed to keep the other LED's lit if one fails, and arrays must be replaced as a unit, rather than individual LED's, in case of failure.

I have seen some nice LED tails, and done properly they are a step forward.

I don't drink coffee, so I have never been to a Starbucks, but looking at their financials, Bossman will be driving an SL soon, with factory LED tails.

Well moviela.....I started to read your post, but then I realised it was long...and saw LED again and again here and there so- No worries I didnt get the LED version, just the regular halogen...the only time i'll get LED's are when the company puts them on from factory! Oh and you dont need to drink coffee to go to starbucks- we actually have some good tea's as well....oh and I only make $7.50/hr. Its just many months of hard work and saving to get all this but thanks so much man! Much appreciated!

Why dont those S-class style lights fit the 2005 C230? Is there any place to get ones that do? Also alot of people have the clear lenses on the sides of the bumpers where would I be able to get those?

makes your daughter horny
Lookin good man, we need to set up a day to paint brakes if your still interested. I have 3 weeks off after all my friends go back to college so I'm going to do it sometime then.

I like your tails, I think I might get them. I got a ticket for my tinted tails leaving lido at like 1am - I'm sure the cop was looking for a DUI, he made sure to thoroughly harass us, then gave me a ticket for my tail lights despite telling me how "clean" my car looked with the tinted tails. Go figure.
