you should know that the low volume sound problem is a known defect and was fixed with a new module this year. most people out there (and even the dealerships) are not aware of this. read my thread about ipod integration part number for the correct one, ending in '56'. if you contact the parts department they will not give you part #s usually, but you can ask them if there was a replaced item #, and they will answer you YES
