Pulls to the right...

Ok, Im not sure what im trying to say so please excuse me and try to fill in my blanks. I got some new tires today and after that immediately got my alignment done because my car was pulling to the right pretty badly and still is. When i got my alignment done i was talking to the guy and he said that i was still goign to have slight issues with the car pulling to the right because of the control arms couldnt be straighten out anymore or something like that and to see if they mad a aftermarket _ _ _ _ _ and that should solve my problem

Camber bolts/kit? That's what they changed on my car when it was pulling to the left. Standard MB part that I believe comes in different correction increments.

mine pulled to the right when it was new, i got an alignment and it still pulled a little. someone said it could be the low profile tires following the curve of the road? doesn't sound too believeable to me.

depending on your tires the car will follow the road due to many freeway in the States have grooves cut in them and a lot of sports tires will follow these grooves.

I had right-pulling problems about 9 months after I got my 05 c320. The dealer installed a camber correction kit and problem went away. It was also installed as part of the new car warranty. Hope this helps.

I just bought a set of 18" C55 AMG rims from someone. Rims are not bent and tires have only a few hundred miles on them. After they were installed yesterday, replacing my stock ones, the car now pulls to the right. Tires are PZERO ROSSO 225/40 ZR18's on the Front and 245/35 ZR18's. Is is the tire pressure which I have yet to check? Is it the tires which are consider ultra high performance tires that hugs the road????
Do I need an alignment to correct this problem? It maybe pulled slightly to the right prior to the switch...which seems to be a common problem stated in other threads. However, it seems pretty noticable now. Any feedback is appreciated.

Wuddup, man.

When's the last time you had an alignment done? If it's been a while and you already noticed the pulling before you installed the rims, I would have it realigned. It's possible that the pulling is more prominent now that you are running higher performance tires.

The diameter of the tires you chose is dead on according to the tire calculator, so I can see the choice of tire size being the cause. Assuming that the tire pressure is good in all four tires, then there's not much else I can think of, bro.

Hey Drex, what's up bro!

Car is one year old this month at +15K miles. I just called the dealer and they are charging $220 for an alignment. I'll check the tire pressure tonight and go from there. Thanks for chiming in!

Wait, they're charging how much? Well, I kinda understand because from what I understand, MB has a special alignment tool, but...I would try and find an independent MB mechanic that'll do it for cheaper.

If worse comes to worse, go to a tire store that'll do an alignment for you. They normally charge around $40-50. Only thing is, I'm not sure if it will be "properly" aligned because of that alignment tool that MB uses, but it should still be better than what's happening right now.
