So im looking for shoes...why no W203's with LORINSERS?
Whats up guys...I've been wondering about this for sometime now and finally decided to ask my buddies on here to figure out why this is so.....So im shopping for new shoes to match my drop now, and I LOOOOOVE the entire Lorinser look, very suttle but shows class but why arent there really any W203s rocking the LM-5s?? Prolly one of the best looking 5 spoke multi piece wheels around. I've only found 1 black w203 with them on so far and that just doesnt seem right. Why is everyone flocking over to the big 'B' (brabus) over Lorinser? Please fill me in with some info guys? Im debating to do the Lorinser's just cuz honeslty theres almost noone with them?! Everybody's rollin the Mono VI's 
Let me know and heres a pic maybe to justify how clean it looks.

Your car looks pretty hott! I actually like the multispoke wheels that came with your car over my stock 5-spokes...
I personally don't like the LM-5's, I'd rather get Carlsson's version (the 2/5 I believe) over the Lorinsers. I just think Lorinser is on the downhill and hasn't really put out anything that great in a while. (Look at CEC dropping Lorinser for Brabus)

The big thing that HAS kept me back form the LM-5's is that lack of an 'updated' look and just I dont know if those 5 spokes will flow better than the Mono VI's...but everyone has them now so its a bust

I think it's just all based on style preference. Before I found the wheels that I decided on, I really liked the look of the Monoblock VI's (2 piece) the best. Initially, a big reason I wanted those was because it was an MB tuner and I thought they looked the nicest out of all the MB tuner rims. The more I learned about the car, looked at the body styling, etc...the more I realized how many other Euro Tuning companies were out there that made just as nice rims (looks and quality). I also found out that Brabus was $$$$ compared to some other high-end wheel companies that had 3 piece rims.
I don't think there is any way to pinpoint exactly why people go for certain rims. I can say that for me, it's all about the look balanced with the price and quality. My thing was, at first that I just loved how those rims looked the best, but I also didn't want my car looking like anybody else's car...so...I departed from looking at getting the Monoblock VI (2 piece) and started to look into other aftermarket wheel companies and finally came to a decision once I saw the rims I'm going to get.
When it comes to rims, my personal preference is to have them look clean, different and very eye-catching!

I think alot of the application specific wheel lines have slowed down simply due to other products on the market that offer more features / benefits for the same or less money. I do not see many sets of BRABUS wheels on this forum, however I do see HRE, iFORGED, WORK, ZONE, KINESIS etc etc. These are all products that cost less, are stronger (forged models), have custom specs (no spacers etc etc), and can be configured in just about any finish etc etc required. I think that makes it tougher to pony up 7-8k on 20" BRABUS.
For the price of the Lorinsers (or less), you could get some 3pc forged wheels that will be lighter, stronger, have bigger lips and clear your OEM calipers. Just my .02, but I have also noticed a slow down on tuner application specific wheels (except the Carlsson 1/16 forged

At the same time, if I had money like that, I know there are some other cars around the world that I'd consider too (i.e. Nissan Skyline R34; Lotus Exige; Carrera GT; Ferrari F50; etc...).

I wouldnt say Lorinser is going "down" however they are going in a different direction aesthetics wise.

Lorinser has been pretty consistant in putting out new products it's just because their style tend to target different people (older crowd) and with Brabus, Carlsson, or even Kleemann now making wheels there are lots of choices. The trend today is Forged wheels such as HRE, Iforged, DPE, DCR, Zone, Kinesis, Work, etc D2 mentioned. But all in all it depends on what people want.
I had the Lorinser replica, Axis, HRE, and now Carlsson on my car. I liked all of them. It's just the Carlsson now matches my full Carlsson RS kit.
