LOL...I can just imagine companies coming up with some technical term for it to match the initials (i.e. Operational Security Handle - e.g. Oh Sh@t Handle)

Not enough caffeine here. I'm still trying to figure out what handle you guys are writing about. Explanation or picture, please?

Bob, unfortunately I don't have a pic of my interior, but it's the handle that is right above the window sill (attached to the headliner). Only thing is, I'm not sure if the coupe has them.

Ahhhh - Soooooo, the passenger assist handles. OK. Now I'm up to speed. Thought I was missing something.

The Missus sometimes grabs that handle when I turn too fast or brake late. I'll have to ask her if she calls it the Oh **** Handle. LOL!

Interesting thing is, I haven't seen very many cars with a DRIVER'S "Oh ***** Handle" like our cars have.

As a driver, your hands are supposed to be on the wheel.

I think there are two (2) retangular plugs behind the grab handle.
Take a small and thin flat screw driver to pull it out.
Be carefull and not distore the plug.
One it is out about 1/4" inch, you can pull it out by hand. The plug looks like the leter T. Then you can remove the handde at this time.
There is no fastenners behind it

I was thinking the same thing when I first bought my car. I looked up and thought, "who the hell is gonna use that thing when they drive?"...but I came to the conclusion that some people might use it to pull themselves out of the driver seat, when getting out of the car.

Phil, the "Oh $h1t" handles are the ones that you have to reach up for, but I think maybe the thread was started on how to remove the ones you have in the pic.

Either way, not sure how to remove these.

Alright, here are the pictures of the oh sh#@t handle and the ceiling mount. From these pictures I bet you will be able to come up with a way to remove them. Then again it's not rocket science - I just pulled really hard. This handle is located on the passenger's side back seat.
