2003 Window Sticker w/C4
I'm not sure but I believe someone said the C4 package is for the mythical Bi-Xenons. So parused the dealer lot this morning during my free car wash, coffee and muffins and found many 2003 coupes but only one with the C4. Here's a pick of the invoice. You don't really need a pick of the headlights, just look at any 2002.
What's interesting is the higher gas mileage, not as high as I expected from such a little motor.

I love the way you emphasize your free goodies... Maybe MB should start offering a platinum service option, with free massages and pedicures while you wait. I'm worried that mufins and such may lose their exclusivity now that the word's out on the www.
THat's a hell of a sticker price for a 1.8.

Buell, this is an off-thread response, but since you posted it ..... Last night we went out for dinner. On the way back to the car, I spotted a red Acura 3.2CL-S w/ license plate: BULLWNKL. Of course, I thought of you!

Darn.......No Dual Projections
Oh well.......Xenons are Xenons.........I'm just glad they're offered. Although the percentages of coupes with C4 might be very low and rare. It's still the beginning of the model year though.

funny...the "build your own" at MBUSA.COM specifies the C4 is now "Lighting package" with headlight washers and Xenon lights...
2003 Packages
C4: Lighting Package $750.00
Heated headlamp washers use a pressurized spray. New Bi-Xenon headlamps emit bright, blue-white light for both low and high beams.
Must not be ordered with any of: Headlamp Washing System
While heated seats are listed as an individual option...
Heated Front Seats $650.00
(shrug) what the hell do I know...

Ray, all dealers in Orange County, CA offer this service as far as I know and there are 4 dealers here. No secret. It's the main reason I came back to MB after 15 years of bad memories. I went to our next nearest dealer, Fletcher and they have a bartender and a capucino/latte/mocha machine but no muffins, what's up with that?
MarkL, thank you for thinking of me.

2000 300m, 2003 C-Coupe
A good friend of mine, deep in the bowles of Mercedes, informed me that the Bi-Xenons are not due on the C230 until November/December time frame. I believe that the C4 package is carry over from 2002. My dealer actually told me the same thing. MB should have published late availability in the brochures. Now that the 1.8 is out of the bag, I suppose the Xenons will be the next thing to post about for the next 6 months.

I found an interior change. The cup holder on the 2003 has changed. It now says something on the silver button that make the unit pop up. I could not see it through the window clearly, but I assume its says OPEN or something to that effect.

well, i'm not kidding when i say that i didn't know that little silver thing was actually a button to press. i did wonder why i couldn't open it or close it consistently... i thought the whole thing sort of worked like a button.
[kidding] so i wrote a letter to mbusa demanding that they make it clearer! and i'm glad they listened!

About 2 months ago I broke my cupholder (don't ask how, it fell apart) so I had it replaced. Original cupholder had a crome button that had no writing on it, new one says OPEN on it.

So that's how you get the new cupholder, clever, very clever. Other than the must have OPEN on the button, does it do anything different than when the old one worked?
