It really same cluster of my car---05 W211 Avantgarde(sports version).
You can see better smooth character on cluster...
and better than black colored cluster of regular W211.

Couple of questions......What happens to the Distronic now that you changed the gauge cluster??? It looks like you no longer have the display area for it.
Also, I checked your web site, but could not find specs on your cars color. Is it Pewter or Brilliant Silver??? Also, which AMG rims do you have, 17" C32 or 18" C55??? And lastly, you are the only one that I've been able to find that added a heated steering wheel. How difficult is it to do and which wheels from other models will work??? I had a heated steering wheel in my totaled BMW 5 series and can't imagine living without it.
Car look aswome and you should be commended for your passion!

Distronic still works fine with a 209 cluster. It was once offered for the 209 series. Car is pewter silver. AMG 17" rims currently. I have AMG 18" style III in my garage which I am going to put on soon. Heated wheel is expensive as you have the change all the switches in the steering column to 211 switches, 211 steering wheel and 211 airbag.

I already stated 800-900 above. THe rear heated seats are transplanted with electronics from a w202. They are automatic, 2 level, auto off.

conversion to the new cluster DOES NOT require conversion to MOST. If you do replace a 2001-2004 car with a new cluster from a 209 style, then you have to get a 209 cluster from 2003-2004. If you have a MOST based 2005 C class and want the 209 style cluster, then you have to get a 2005 209 cluster.

One question sunman. Is the centre pixel display capable to display all the functions like the w203 display, or is it less pixels and you loose a bit of resolution? Also at night which one displays better?

The display of the 209 cluster is a higher resolution display than the 203 cluster. IT displays the same amount of information if not more. It also has a bar that goes around the center of the cluster depending on when you set the cruise at or when you set the limiter. THe bar marks the speed position. THe odometer and gear indicator is on a separate display below the main display.
The 209 cluster looks much better at night and especially the white one becuase the white dials have a soft glow to them. The entire dial lights up and not just the numbers.
