Full Bose system for sale (for the coupe)
Price: $300.00
It's only one month old.
I just pulled the entire Bose system out of my car this last weekend. I wanted more than a tape deck in my car so I had to go with an aftermarket headunit and all new speakers.
My car is only a month old, along with the Bose system. It's in perfect shape with no problems whatsoever. Here is what is included:
MB Becker stock tape deck / headunit
one 2" Bose Center speaker
two 1.5" Bose tweeters
two 6.5" Bose door front speakers
two 6.5" Bose door rear speakers
one Bose sub/bass module
one Bose amp that ties the whole system together
The only things I did not pull out of my car were the individual wiring harnesses for the speakers and the wiring harness for the amp. I did not feel like cutting this stuff out of my car. I have spoken with a service guy at a MB dealer in Carlsbad, CA and he told me that they can order all the harnesses and wires one would need to put the Bose system in another coupe. He even faxed me a schematic showing all the wiring and speaker connections for the system. I can scan this and email it to you if you want, so you can show the deal which harnesses you want them to order for you.
My asking price is $300 for the whole package.

hey, lemme tell you one thing.... IF YOU WANT LIKE 300-400 MORE DOLLARS FOR THIS.. PUT IT UP ON EBAY, I GOT ALL AFTERMARKET HEADUNIT AND SPEAKERS AS WELL.... I SOLD MY STOCK MERCEDES HEADUNIT JUST FOR $340..... WITH THE SPEAKERS YOU WILL GET ATLEAST $450-600

if i may ask, how did you post your stock HU on ebay? i just removed mine and no longer need it, and if your price of $340 is true i'm set to make a profit on it. i just have no idea how to list it on ebay (what keywords to use, how to describe it (is it an audio 30?), etc.)

Seriously, do you really think someone would pay that much for a cassette radio that only works in a W203 and if you hooked it up any other way the buit in security would lock it out. If the cars were out of warranty and someone needed a replacement radio I can see that but not on cars warrantied for 4 years.

But I don't see myself making $300 on just the deck...that is quite ridiculous considering that it's only gonna work/fit in a 2001-2002 C-Class (I think just the C's...?) in which case if someone's stop working their car would still be under warranty. And not to mention it's only a misely TAPE DECK (take a hint Mercedes Benz!!!.....think MP3 CD player or hard drive)...
Basically, I'm giving the deck away for free in this sale. I doubt that whoever buys this from me will use the deck. They can buy the speakers/amp from me for $300 with or without the deck...I just don't need the deck and would just assume get rid of it.

You know, when the GeForce 3 video card first came out, somebody auctioned off a URL. The description of the auction read that the seller will help the buyer find the best price online for the card listed in the auction title (which was the latest and greatest at the time). It easily broke $350. No shipping required!

Hey c230ksc, how long ago did you sell your headunit on ebay? How many different people bid for it?
