I just looked the MBUSA and there was no more sport package for 03 models. Does anyone know the site made a mistake or M-B didn't come the sport package for 03 model??
How about in Canada?
I have a sport package and I personally love it.
Thank you
Kevin

It is confirmed, there is no sports package on MY03 cars.
It would seem that the cost of the sport model combined with the lack of enthusiasm for it made MB reconsider offering the sport package.
Also i think they are trying to repostion the C32 AMG as the 'Sport" model for the C Class. The same is being done for the new E Class. The AMG body kit and wheels are not available as a 'Sport' option on the E500 or E320 but only on the W211 E55 AMG.
Hope this helps explain why we dont have the sport package anymore.
I just wish i could still get the Blue glass.....

If that was true, how C class can compare $30,000-$40,000 sports sedan. A4, 330i, X-type all offer sport package. From now I can say C Class is only a luxury sedan. If you want more sporty on your C, you only can go aftermaket source.
Sport package mean Avantgrade in all around the world except North America. The new E Class also offer sport parkage (Avantgrade) in N.A. It just different from last generation that offer AMG body kit as a sport package.

i wonder if the sports package sold well as an option on the sedans? i mean, members of mbworld probably want the sports package, but i'm thinking about most mb owners in general (who, um... may not be internet saavy
)
what exactly is in the sports package for the sedans?

2002 C240 Classic - Orion Blue Beast!!
The NA sport package option was a waste of money. It was too expensive. From all the reviews I read, it was apparently very hard to distinguish it from the "regular" model in terms of having a sportier ride.

I thought the C7 sport package was a relative "deal". Less than $1000 for upgraded shocks; anti-sway bars; wheel/tire package; and shorter shifter (if you got the manual transmission). It may not add up to the cost/benefit you want by getting 18" + wheel/tires; upgraded aftermarket suspension kit (which in turn lowers the car). But, for the money - I think it was a good deal. Please correct me if I am wrong. I think most MB buyers would not care about adding the C7 package - if you look at the "traditional" MB owner. If MB want the AMG cars to be even more exclusive - then maybe that is their reasoning. But, I wonder, how many people here on this forum got the C7 package and still modified their cars? So, then - there would no reason to get the C7 package since you are going to modify your car anyways.

The C7 pkg is a steal. It's definately worth the money. It's only $1000. The story is different for the sedan. In Canada, a C240 Classic cost $39,000, while the C240 sport cost about $44,000. A diff of 5 grand. 5 grand for what? The coupe and sedan sport pkgs are like apples and oranges.
