No, seriously, that'll only add weight. Why do that?

Chrome looks really bad with a lot of brake dust. And I believe they are a lot of work to keep looking nice. Why not just put the money towards some new wheels instead and sell yours ?

You probably don't want to chrome your wheels because I've done it but I would do it again and again. I think it really adds something to some color cars like black. If I had a silver car like yours Timmy, I wouldn't do it.
As for brake dust, the chrome, because it's constantly reflecting, you don't see the dust as easily. The 16" wheels are a very light gray and it shows dust very quickly, worse than the 17" c7 wheels.
As for the price, I wish I can get it done for $250. I paid $700 exhanged at the dealer.

chrome rims?
Chrome with black laurel centers works on my black 320. I use a non abrasive cleaner/protectant and only need to clean...pure water on a rag followed by a buffing cloth...every 300 miles. Porterfield pads help.

Buelwinkle ... your rims look nice... I think a silver C that is lowered so that they tuck slightly would look very nice... I will post pics when I get everything done.
