Sprint Booster - Car behaving like a monster and hungry for speed
"SPRINTBOOSTER is a device that improves acceleration by continuously measuring and converting the digital signal provided by the electronic throttle potentiometer, and providing the ECM with a new and altered signal."
Just to explain, it is much easier for the search function to work when there is centralized threads for certain products. Sprint booster is a topic that's been discussed.

It seems to me that my throttle is fairly responsive.
I'd like to know what's in this thing.
If it's just a resistor..geez.
Can someone tell me how many pins are on the plug?
Is the potentiometer inside the gas pedal? Anyone capable enough to
test the resistance before and after the sprint booster?
As in pull the cable, measure resistance of your pedal.
Should be 2 wires or pins in the connector.
Connect Ohm meter, see initial resistance (ohms)
and then push pedal all the way down, and note the Ohms.
Then put in sprint booster, and measure resistance on back side of sprint booster and post results.
There may be 3 wires including a ground. Likely it's an open or low resistance circuit at idle, and higher resistance as the pedal is depressed, so that a bad or open circuit, wouldn't result in a full throttle condition.
And also likely is that a straight short would be seen as a fault.

Can't wait to drive it tomorrow.

Still I 'raced' a BMW 530i last night, and from a standing start (both with Auto)
he was already gone by the time my throttle started to react.
From a moving start, at about 15 mph and me in 1st gear, we were pretty close, he pulled away just a little before I shut it down at about 50 in a 35, in
a town where the cops are notorious. Is it considered a crime if you 'race' the guy in the car next to you from a light to the speed limit?

It's just too bad that I'll be driving like a grandpa for a while. I was 2 days away from making the minimum 18 month period since my last traffic school, so I was only granted a 12 hour traffic school. The worst part is, from what I understand, the information of a speeding ticket stays on your record, but you just don't get a point. Problem with that is, I think my insurance will go up because of it.
Either way, I can't wait to hear and feel how my car is acting now. When all the bolt-ons were first put on and new parts w/ some "help", my car had already relinquished a lot of the lag.
Not saying that the Sprint booster doesn't work, but I don't think I'll be needing it like a lot of stock cars do.
Driving too fast under various conditions - negligence driving.
BTW, somebody please comment on drivability issue with Sprint Booster on heavy traffic. I saw one or two comments on this before, but still not very clear to me.
