approx how much did that run you? I'm thinkin about doin it cause I hate how sluggish off the line my car is. My and my buddy in his 03/04 SVT 5-door Focus went all out [he has off-road pipe, intake, engine mount, etc]. He so took me from the line. pretty sh*tty feelin knowin that my car is still essentially faster. but damn.

not sure about the used part..but depending on where you live...i think it is $250 USD..but better check with Dean...and you will definately feel the difference, doesn't change HP just gives you faster acceleration and gets rid of that DBW lag, you just need to tap the gas pedal..simple mod...great outcome...make sure you get the automatic one for your car

 

I changed my intake pipe, put in a K&N and got the SB...i have much better response now...hope this helps

How is everyone's Sprint Booster doing? When I first installed the SB it was awesome but a bit to sensitive...then after a month or so it hit the sweet spot...I learned how to manage the SB plus it became a little bit less sensitive...but after a while I feel less and less of a difference. Maybe I just got accustomed to it....

Is there anyway to reset it without having to fully disconnect it?

The SB to me is still a good mod!

 

Mine is still running strong. I still notice it, because the car down-shifts a gear when I press down about 1/4 of the way on the accelerator. I remember without it I have to press about halfway to do so. But you are right about being less sensitive because we adjusted the way we drive.

You can't reset Sprint Booster. Just reset the ECU on your car. I'm sure you know how.

After reading this and driving my car again I noticed what you were saying. You are right! About the ECU reset, believe it or not but I am unaware of how to do this. What does that exactly do?

I hate that freaking 1 second lag. Wouldn't re-flashing the ECU with a delete code for work just as well, if not better with extra power?

 

Nope. Sprintbooster does WAY more than an ECU flash for throttle response.

Ive read good things about the manual as well. For $275 its worth a try. Now if I could only find one !
