Maggie, don't worry, I know how confusing this can get. Unfortunately you just can't loose AM, well, theoretically speaking you can but maybe won't be a good option (because is AM). Regarding a Hardwire for the Audio 10 I have no idea, I do however know something about the regular HU, haven't done it already but you can go to http://66.15.182.201/w203aux/. This will guide you some how to do this. In the other hand you can always use an FM modulator, no need for extra stuff. Once in the link you can visit the threads regarding this procedure. Please feel free to ask us any questions but also please search first just in case we already have respond to some of your concerns.

raymond... thats where the radio antenna hooks up. it's a 2003 w203 with audio 10 (with cd-reader) ...
Fanito: thanks! that was a great great help!
going to search things about that fm modulator (i have no idea what it is...) but hardwiring it to the AM (Am doesn't really matter to me) would be so cool... i just have to find the pins of the AM in the board...maybe i'll get in touch with chrono ... he might help me on that.
thanks for all your help guys,

MBWorld Fanatic!
m- are the ports labeled not correct? (the pics aren't clear, but the rear photo of yours do not appear to match up with the w203 mod which is linked to by fanito.)

hi raymond!
well... i guess the big difference from this 2 radios is that little plug between the the radio antenna and the optic fiber. on my Radio (CD-Radio) they're both on horizontal side by side, on fanito link (this one):
the little plug is above the radio antenna... because it's a Radio with Tape player...
well i'm at the point when i need to open my radio, and find the pins that receive sound from AM...yes because i prefer loosing AM than CD function.
thanks again for everything...im gonna try to talk to chrono and see if he can give me a hand on this...

I am waiting for the d2b aux-in kit from the folks making the argos bluetooth for d2b cars. This kit allows you to replace either the CD changer or the phone with an aux in port. Then you can attach an ipod or mp3 or whatever else needs an input to the stereo.
