I just got mine about a month ago. I have put 600 miles on it and so far I like it. I've been a BMW guy for the past 15 years and this is my first MBZ. It is a little boring to look at, but that can be fixed with wheels and mods.
My biggest problem is the size. It just seems small compared to the 528 that I had before it. I know that the E class is a better comparrison for size, but it was not in my budget. I hope that the C230 gives me the same kind of reliability that my BMW's did. I had 130,xxx miles on my 528 when it got totaled and was easily good for another 100k.

Thanks to Trekman for the C32 photo as I have not gotten my wheels yet and have not taken any pics. I have changed the grill, hood badge, C55 rear spoiler so far. Window tint, coil overs and wheels to come.

Dia Blk '06 C230 w/3 pedals
It's a decent car. I like it...I like it a lot (bought it in mid october and have 18K miles already). I put And this is coming from a guy who thinks one of teh best cars ever is teh 1987-88 M3/4 (5 speed of course).
The car has a nice ride and if you don't short shft, makes power all the way to redline. It doesn't handle like a Bimmer but it sure as hell don't ride like a Buick.

I test drove the C230 today and the SLK280, man I love the SLK but not a big fan of the 2 seater. The C230 I really liked and planning on getting, plus the sales guy Nick was very helpful! I plan on going back and purchasing the car off him. Plus all the rest of the guys at the North Olmsted Mercedes-Benz dealership were great. But yeah I love the car, and plan on getting the navigation system, and the Harman-Kardon system.

I got my '06 C230 SS back in Sept '05; 9000 miles so far, and not a single problem........the car is pretty fun for a daily driver. I looked at a '06 325 and 330, and honestly, I couldn't stand how cheap the interiors looked in the new 3, or how it looked, overall, IMHO. Glad I got the Benz, and I'm about to have some fun modding it!
