Returning Lease with Mods

I was wondering if you return your car after the lease is finished and it has lowering springs on it, will they force you to change them back to the orignals or will they accept the car with the aftermarket springs.

they are likely to charge you for some s*** that doesn't even make sense. i would change it back to the original if i were you. i'd take off the after market rims too.

I don't get it! Why do you want to spend money of mods for a car which not yours?

I read where MB will allow you to turn the car in at the end of the lease (with no cost) with modifications if those mods were installed by authorized MB dealers. Even so, MB has the final word, they will either make you replace with stock equipment or pay for the changes.

The thing to remember is that a leased car belongs to the leasing company, you in effect rent it from them. As such, you _probably_ don't have the right to mod it without their permission anyway.

thanks, I didnt buy the springs yet because I was afraid that they would charge me or something and I guess my car has to stay the way it is for now.
P.S. Dont worry the rims will go on my next benz.

haha, thats a good question. Before i painted them i spoke to lots of people at the dealer and made sure that i can return a leased car with the RED painted calipers, they said that thats no big deal at all.
