I know it differs from car to car, but what is the most RWHP #### some one got from their DYNO results on the c230k?
Also how much RWHP does the New Subaru Impreza WRX put out compared to the c230. Now i know the Subaru has 227HP but how much do they loose at the drive train compare to 230.
So if we where to just get a pulley an the c230 it would almost even the HP numbers and with a person who knows how to drive a 6spd (power shift) would almost then run neck to neck with WRX. I know the WRX have all wheel drive but with the right driver it should be even race (Maybe).

I would imagine that an AWD setup like the Subie loses more HP at the wheels, of course you'll need a AWD dyno to test it. The most HP I've ever heard of on this forum was 176 and Compact SportCar Magazine had it pegged at 177. I got about 168 HP but others have done worse, down to 159 HP.
In a drag race the WRX will easily beat out the C230 with the same HP because there's no wheel slip with the AWD. This allows you to rev it into it's peak power range and hold it there while you feed it clutch and maintain the rpms. If you did that on the C230, and I have, you will spin tires for a while. So the Subie would have the jump on you. Now if you started on a rolling start then it would be fairly even with a slight edge to the coupe because of more torque and less frictional loses of a 2wd setup. Now keep in mind that to do a 5.5 second 0-60 on a Subie will likely take it's toll on the clutch, not something you would do at each stoplight. Of course it doesn't take too much to make a 275hp WRX.

It would be interesting to see how much Hp WRX looses on the drive train and how much HP they put down at the wheels(4 wheels that is). Anyone spyed on the Subaru Forums yet?

E350 Coupe (2010)
But in the end you have the fast *** subie... but the interior will still look like crap. I was a long time WRX fan but the second I saw how honda civic CX the interior was I couldnt roll with it.

I would still say WRX if both was auto, WRX is lighter and what another 30+hp. If the cCoupe wasn't such a fat ***, then I personaly would think the race would be closer but its ok the cCoupe roll around with class while the wrx is more of a ... ah don't know but what ever hehe:p

C230 Sports Coupe
thats what alot of people dont realize. AWD does nothing once you are rolling. If you want to go 0-60 the subie will probaby win. But 50-120 it could be close race I think. Thats where the coupe would win i think. But you put a $200 boost controller on the subie and you have 30, 40, 50 more hp. From my experiance in street racing, you HAVE to get the other guy off the line. When you beat someone off the line thats like your free shot at him. Evn if his car is a few tenths quicker but you get him by 2 tenths off line its gonna be a quick race.
