The new 3 front looks good, but i dont really like the rear. It looks like a smaller size of 7 series taillight design. I am not really into the interior on this new generation 3 series sedan, hopefully the interior can be alittle better on the coupe. The 335 engine is quite amazing tho... jump to 300 HP already...

Oh well...another ugly german car. VW and BMW will have lots of company when MB rolls out the Acura C-Class design in a few months....

I love the CLS all aound.
Like the R except the front end
New S wheel arches are a bit overdone for my taste.
And the new C Class (from what I have seen) did not hold me from buying a 2006 C Sport.
Maybe, that is why they pretty much left the E-Class as was... if it ain't broken why fix it!

M Gmbh is anti-FI. BMW's not. 530d is turbo-diesel.
to topic: now I definitely like the sedan more. It's the first time I think the 3-series sedan looks better than the coupe. When they start to offer the 335i to the sedan...time to consider changing car.

The R class is DOA. They aren't selling at all.
Hard to justify 50 grand for a tarted up Pacifica.

I never noticed that there was even any text with his posts. I just was happy that he kept putting the same picture up every few days.

The biggest crosspolination was in of engineering resources, several project engineers worked on both -its very obvious- both vehicles have the same mission, and very similar layouts. The biggest difference is the Pacifica's Fwd/AWd drivetrain. I think the Pacifica is the better looking as well. I loved the GST Concept vehicle that spawned the R-Class...but the transition to production car has cost the vehicle its stuning profile and incredible interior.
