hey bud,

did you lower your car?
i figured even with it on going over speed bumps shouldnt be a problem - at least i hope not! the front is fairly low already on the sport models. i figured if mine scratches i would take it off and sell it... we shall see!

Hey Neal, how about a C55 lip group buy covering back to February of this year?

Speed bumps are never a problem. It's the steep driveways and concrete barriers/curbs at the front of each parking stall you need to watch out for. I've already done some damage due to my retardedness but nothing too severe. Again Neal, group buy for a 2nd lip? Haha.

Nice to see everyone calming down here. I really do appreciate all the interest.

So just to put this at rest, we will have more in possibly 1 to 1.5 months. At that time we will consider another group buy for some who have missed out. Pricing may not be identical, but it will be good. So in the meantime, these are all sold, just wait till we have more and we will see what we can do for those who have missed out.

Thank you

LOL!

I agree with you.

My C55 was lowered with the lip and i went over speed bumps fine. No scratching. Unless the speed bump is the size of Mount St. Helen i would not worry.

One thing you do want to be careful about is the curbs in front of the parking spaces and not pull up far at all.

The curbs are a danger to the stock bumper too. I almost scratched mine so now I stop in the parking spaces a good foot and half before the curbs. Pimpin aiin't easy but it's necesssarrayyyy!!!!!

Slow your roll. He said th earliest he could ship would be today. Some I'm guess you shouldn't expect it till late this week.

Not that I need to be cracking on anyone for not reading. But I love when people show that they blatantly didn't read the whole thread.

Come to Texas. We have speed bumps the size of Mt. St. Helens.

As much as I want to install this tight lip asap, I still have to wait till I get back from my holiday (which is nx month) .

I dont want rock chips on my CF lip!!!

Sorry to hijacked this thread, but is there such thing like a thin, transparent film that will cover the CF lip to protect from rocks chips once it is installed? Can't wait for the CF lip to arrive!!!

You mean like a clear bra type thing? i heard a few customers were going to try to have it done. I never heard more on it, but i don't see why it cant be done.

A clear bra? Isn't that too thick? I was thinking about similar to headlight transparent films or sticker.. something like this if available:

That headlight film looks similar to the clear bra. It might work. Give it a try.

I didn't lower the car, I figured it was low enough! lol

Honestly I don't know how supercar owners drive their cars......

Have you seen how low a Murcielago, Zonda, etc are??? Nah, if you scratch it just keep it; scratching is inevitable.

did anyone else's get delayed too?

stupid UPS had my lip coming in on monday of next week, now it took those tards 3 days to get it out of FL so now the delivery date has been rescheduled to tuesday... I hate UPS, by far the worst delivery service.

man, I can't wait for my lip!

as for the installation, one of my friends suggested that we should double sided tape it first and then drill the holes with the lip on and then remove the tape and then put on the bolts... any ideas to making installation easier?

thanks!

Phil,

You're not the only one that had that issue. They did the same crap to me.

I prefer to use FedEx whenever possible, but I'm sure people have had plenty of issues with their delivery service as well. I just tend to have better luck with shipments using FedEx, plus they are generally cheaper for shipping large, heavy items.
