Does the car run faster from 0-60mi range w/o ESP
Has anyone tried to acceralate from 0 to 60 miles in a C Class with ESP/ABS turned off ?
Does it run faster in reality ? If Yes, how fast is it ?

ABS does absolutely nothing in running the car 0-60.
When you turn ESP Off it's not like the car gets an instant 20 horses suddenly. It just allows some tirespin at the start so a skilled can driver can launch without the ESP kicking in. I'm guessing you could get 0.2-0.3 seconds off the time if you launch with ESP off. That is if you do it well...

In manual c230s can you get the tires to chirp from 1 to 2? Does ESP kick in when you do this?
The real question is which is faster: simply ESP off or ESP/ABS/BAS off in dyno mode?
I know dyno mode disengages the electronic differential. Probably in such a low horsepower car this doesnt matter..

Seriously, I've never been able to get the tires to spin out in my C230 Kompressor. Except once, when it was very wet.
I've got to fiddle more with that ESP switch.

The car will deffinitely launch faster with the ESP off. With it on, with will cut the throttle if the tires start to slip. With it off, it will only apply brake to spinning tire if it spins too much. Dyno mode is the most fun if you just want to generate smoke. My C320 is slower around an autocross track in dyno mode

There's a difference between no ESP, and ESP off. What you really want off is the traction control, I think MB gives it the name ASR, then rolls it into the ESP functions.
ESP off, yes, the car is definately faster in accelleraton...the car with ESP 'off' will walk away from the car with in the default or on position. You can't launch very hard, and the car will fall on its face every time you loose traction, especially between shifts.
Even with ESP 'off' a lot of the program is still active...just ASR is not trying to reduce engine power. No ESP is only available in Dyno mode. It would be interesting to find out if Dyno mode is faster...although you revert to an open diff(no fake electronic posi) in Dyno mode.

I could chrip 1st gear launching at 3500RPM on dry road and chirp from 1st into 2nd. After 2nd into 3rd and so on....I feel like the engine lost it's HP and becomes a slow turtle.
I guess thats what happens when you put a 1.8L engine into a car that weights 3200 pound (even though it's supercharged)
