EC Rest Button...NO AC! Help!

I recently turned on my car and the EC Rest button was lit up...and i pressed it....and it still remains lit...

my car is no longer under warranty...

has anyone ever experienced their EC Rest buttons not cutting off?

how much will this cost to fix?

PS my freaking back window won't roll up either :-(

C240 2001

thanks

Jack

Check your fuses.

Alternatively have someone check your Freon charge, to see, if there is a leak.

maybe you need to reboot your car some how? maybe taking the power off by disconecting the battery? I dont know but I would try that and see if it works....

well In dont know that. but when you disconnect your battery and reconect it you will have to do some resinc on your car like turning yout steeriing wheel all the way left and right, rolling your windows up and down and the sun roof.

how old is your battery? it might be going bad if its 3 years old and it will start doing wierd stuff.

https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/115277-list-faults-occur-after-disconnecting-battery.html

read that link it will tell you all the things that happend when you remove the battery and how to reset it. hope it helps

I'd be careful about disconnecting the battery, here's the thread that lists issues people have had:
