my rant about PIAA bulbs
i've always trusted and used PIAA bulbs in all my cars b/c the past cars have not been equipped with xenon.
anyways my w203 has piaa xtreme white (think thats what there called). they are 2 years old and last summer the right fog blew out so i replaced it with a generic hyper white bulb dk what brand. today i get a error fog light message saying my left side is blown out....
anyone has any input in Piaa brand bulbs? my piaa signals are still good but the regular halogen bulbs suck imo and are pretty overpriced i dont think i will buy piaa again... hopefully my headlight bulbs won't blow out
but for now yellow fog bulbs

From what it looks like on their website, bulbs aren't warrntied.
Sorry to hear that you had issues. Honestly, I'd just go HID if I were you.

I buy all my lighting products from this guy:
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/
If you enjoy light technical reading, here's a good article explaining why Superwhites and other similar bulbs really offer poorer lighting than standard type bulbs:
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...uperwhite.html
And another one explaining some of the flaws with HID lamps:
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...dvantages.html
(BTW, the guy isn't a quack - I work in the optics industry, and his statements are 100% correct. He might sound a bit harsh, but it's the truth...useless bling, or functional performance? Your choice.)

white and whiter
my bro had used PIAA H7 on his 528 long time ago. they burnt out in less than a year. never bought any PIAA **** again.
I'm sticking with Philip Ultra Vision for my 204 and Hella HID look H7 for my sis's 208. they work great and around $35 for the Philip and $30 for the Hella pair.

How change bulp on driver side.
1. First pull out these 4 little pins with sidecutters.
2. Then you can move out plastic flat.
3. Now you can see bulb socket.
4. Turn bulb socket counterclockwise and take it off.
5. Change bulb and put it back as same as you take it off.
6. Put plastic flat back.
7. Put pins back.
Easy job. 15min..
I change superwhite bulbs.
Passanges side you can change top of car. Jast but your hand down to foglight and turn bulb off.

Just replaced my fogs with Hoen Xenonmatch! I love the color and pattern! Passenger side: easy install! Driver side: Huge PITA! I was getting so frustrated, maybe my hands are too big! (but I guess thats a good thing... )

How did you manage to type "fog" incorrectly in three different places within the same post?
No, you cannot set the fog lights to automatically turn on in the "auto" setting. You do not need to drive around with your fog lights on all of the time. To use them when necessary, simple turn the knob two clicks to the right (from the auto setting) and pull the knob out one click (two clicks for front/rear fogs). When you turn off the car, remove the key and open the door, the car will beep to alert you to manually turn off your lights.
