I'm still trying to decide between keeping frosted lens, buying facelifted halogen lamps, or projectors off ebay. and then theres always the oem xenon choice, but i'd prefer to avoid that expensive route

you have frosty the fog lights?

get clear LENS from the dealer. cost you roughly $10-15 for both of them.

Are you saying I can switch the frosty fog lights to clear ones for under $20?

it wont look as good as the original clear fog unit, because the inside of our fog lights arent as attractive, but some people have spray painted the inside silver so it looks better

i want everything would be about the same.

i even ordered white LED for front and rear turn signal light.

just trying to match everything white. hope everything balances out evenly.

Yes, by the end of the week I will have PIAA extreme white city lights, side markers, and PIAA extreme white plus Headlights. All I'm hoping for is that it looks much better than it does now and matches pretty good. So I will post pics as soon as I get them in so you can check it out.

Kev, what exactly is the difference from the frosted lens to the clear lens with the silverstars, were you able to see? or did you change them at the same time. I'd like to know if I'd get a brighter light. Who knows, maybe I would just go for PIAA 9006s if they have them, lol

piaa does make them, in case you were wondering

and i dont think its much of a performance difference, but a cosmetic difference when the car is off

Question Stock H7-Bulbs on my Fog Lights????

i Got aftermarket Bulbs (9006 H4 8000k. Blue tint glass) for my Fog Lights,
yesterday i went to my shop so they can replace the stock bulb with the after market bulb,
so as my shop took off the stock bulb from the passenger side 1st, it appeard to be a H7 Bulb
and the after market bulb woudnt fit in . i thought the place i got my aftermarket bulbs from, gave me the wrong one . but i was told that my
C class should have stock H4 bulbs
i also called up Mercedes and they told me the 2005 C class should have a
H4 stock, he said that it was weird that i had a H7 and he said to call him back when i can with the VIN number

i will post pictures when i go back home of the Bulbs. both bulbs look the same the only diffrence is that H7 ""stock bulb"" (wich is in my car)
is thicker from the after market bulb H4

i've been told that the H7 and H4 bulbs are the same except for the way the socket fits. some people on this forum have used their old H7 hid kits on their fogs when they upgrade to bixenons. (i'm considering to do it actually).

H7 and HB4 are different. H7 is a "I" shaped bulb, with 2 legs. HB4/9006 bulbs are "L" shaped, and has a socket.

I used a HID kit that I have removed ALL sockets, and just plugged in the legs lol
