Why did you buy 7507 when in the thread title you talked about 1156?

On some BI-X setups, the blinker is 1156. Others are 1157 or 7507. The difference between the two bulbs are that the 1157 has off-set prongs. If you look at them, they are set on the base of the bulb different. One prong is in a similar location as the 1156, but the other prong is set higher up on the bulb base. Just make sure you're inserting the bulb where the prongs match up to the slots. The 1156 bulb, you can insert the bulb either way. 1157 or 7507 cannot be done like that.

Keep in mind these bulbs have a pearlish color as opposed to the chrome coating Stealth Bulbs have. Also, Stealth Bulbs have a lifetime guarantee, even for burn-outs.

Check out the images below of Stealth Bulbs compared to SilverStars...

Cant argue there! The stealth bulbs look good. But if your wanting the color, as i believe he does - then yeah go with the others. They kinda look like the tail light bulbs on the newer eclipse. Not really a fan - Dont they still glow amber or something like that ?

1156A-ST bulbs are a higher wattage bulbs, you should use 7057A-ST which is the correct wattage. Mercedes uses a lower wattage bulb in the rear lense assembly. I am going to take out my 1156A and switch to 7057A. OEM is the best replacement. The 7057A-ST are suppose to last 1000 hours and replace all previous lamps in the S-8 lamp category

At the end of this short thread I am still lost, I want these bulbs but according to the discussion some BIX use either 1156 1157 or 7057 how do i go about deciding this ?
Go and pull out the one in my housing ?
or does it vary by year?
I cannot find the 7057 anywhere if thats the case
