How did you do this exactly? You used window tinting film? How did you melt it?
I painted my side markers lights but I might try this on the mirror blinkers. Can you still see the light through?

How did you tint the sidemarkers? Could you explain it step by step on how to do it and what materials and devices do we need?
Thanks

you can either use window tinting film, or taillight/headlight film from stickercity.com (35% tint), light can still go thru,
you first heat up ur hairdryer, turn it on for like...a min? and then blow the tints with the hairdryer make sure the tint gets into like a soft melty kinda state, then apply it to your lights, and if its small and curved like the sidemarkers, make sure you STRETCH it so the curve is set. and also make sure the tint stays soft and hott and all times. after you get the curve, use a sharp utlity blade and cut approx 3mm MORE than the size of the light, and if possible, fold the extra 3mm onto the INSIDE of the light.then let it set cold, (the tint film would shrink back, thats where the 3mm kicks in) and then you'll get your perfectly tinted lights. I'll re-tint one of them, and take pictures and post them up by saturday

Looks great. I don't think I can make it so neat like yours. I'll have to try and see if I can do the same.
Might as well do the taillights since you perfected this technique.
