My car on "DYNOMODE"
Guys, I was bored this afternoon, and put my car on "DYNO MODE" and I was wondering what INSTR SW and INSTR HW was and what was your "versions" and also...this was a warm car, so is my engine oil a little low?

but here are the pics of the 3 settings in dyno mode. are my settings correct?

I think instr hw and sw means instrument hardware and software versions. as for oil level that should be right, I just go off of my other oil level reading sensor which I know may not always be accurate. as for that last menu, what is that? Battery level? I have Command so I can check mine through the 1+3+5 mute trick

yeah tahts the battery level. engine oil wise, the booklet says 7.8qt. so i was wondering if it was "accurate"

Run dyno mode before you cold start the car. It should read 7.9-8.0 qts then. Once the engine starts the oil level will decrease, as Dyno mode measures only what is in the pan... minus what is circulating in the system when running.

I had to have mine update to the latest version because the one on my unit didn't have the Bi-X settings. I know I have the latest one as of about 2 months ago.

crap I wonder if I have like an older version lol. Does it make a difference!? lol


by the way, this morning, when i first started up, the oil jumped to like 8.2qt and then after the engine idle was norm. it stayed at 7.4
