2002 c 240
Exclamation CONVERSION: from 2002 C240 to 2005+ AMG body style ( 30+ pics)

I just like the looks of the new C-class sport sedans, My dad bought an SUV and gave me this 2002 c240 for a graduation gift. Unfortunately, this car is not a sport sedan, I didn't like the look of it, front wheel has a large gap from the fender well, don't really stand out ( in my opinion). So I decided to convert it to a 2005+ AMG style sport sedan. nothing really big on my conversion, it looks just like a 2006 C230 kompressor/ Sport sedan. I could've done Lorinser, Brabus, Expression, etc. but I stick to real AMG.

OEM mods:

AMG Front Bumper
AMG Rear Bumper
AMG Rocker/ sides
AMG C55 spoiler
17 inch staggerred funnel spoke wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport ( PS1)
OEM grill from 2005 (grill with 3 lines unlike from C240 it has 4 lines)
AMG front bumper mesh grilles ( 3pc )
OEM flat hood emblem
US spec Bixenons
2005+ side blinkers
AMG oval/hella fog lights
Kompressor oval exhaust tip
2005 window strip/ door strip??? (see pic)
"Sport" emblem on the fender

Aftermarket mods:

Tein S-tech ( cut 1 coil, still not low!!!/ stock rear pad)
Cheap roof spoiler
Euroteck Motorsports' carbon fiber lip
Painted / color coded side markers
So called hyper white city lights
Yellow fog light 9006 bulbs

Misc:

Xenon=present setting
wheel allignment ( they made it worse gotta go to MB)
$13.65 for Taco Bell food-- he helped me lower my car.
and more.....

Looks good and congrats on the complete body conversion. As for the above, isn't the stock rear pad on the 240 a #3 or #4? If so, you should drop down to a #2 or #1. That'll make up the slight difference you're looking for if you want to be lower in the rear. Also, if you do that, make sure you have the rear fenders folded just to avoid any rubbing on the outer portion of the tires. I'm pretty sure the 240's did not come stock with rolled fenders like the 2004.5-present Sport Sedans.

See... I don't wanna deal with these work, rollin my fender..etc. rubbing issues.. I actually bought rims, they are 19 8.5/9.5... sold it because I'm afraid my car will be slower... plus buying correct spacers... I'm on a budget.

I hate to admit C240s are sluggish.
