installed mats from Mats.com
it's good that they're made of rubber.anyway, the fit was fine w/out any adjustments (i only got fronts). soft rubber, no spikes to hold them in place like the oem mercedes all-weather mats. a red border around the lip at the bottom end of the mats w/ the word Cannon :thmbsdwn: - did not notice that on their web page when i ordered but upon revisiting them, its clear that they are there.
my recommendations: if you want the mb mats, go get them - but i didn't like the spikes. i'm still keeping my set for future use. if the car&driver mats from walmart/target/kmart fit your car, i'd get those for $10 each. (they didn't fit my bmw, but would've fit my mb). the macneil mats are more functional - will hold melted snow (water), no spikes to make dimples - but aesthetically, the red edge stands out.
i have truly entered the realm of car geekdom... i can't believe i'm thinking so much about carmats...

but i really love my car
-oops, it looks like mark got to it first... :p
Young, I was going to add that if you don't like the red stripe, maybe there's a simple way to cover it up. My statement may have been a little strong -- I really like the WeatherTechs, I just think the stripe brings added attention to the mats.
yes, i'm thinking of several ways of getting rid of the red border. sand it off, use a knife to slice a thin layer off, permanent markers, paint pens, duct tape, whatever it takes...
