Wheel size and offset questions - HELP
Will a 17x8 et35 wheel fit a 2004 C230 Sport Sedan with staggered wheels? If so what tire size is recommended?
What about a 18x7.5 et37? And once again, if so what tires?
Are spacers an option?

You will not need spacers, unless you have the AMG C32 brake calipers or the 2005 brake calipers up front. You can use spacers to push the wheel out more, but that is more for looks.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just don't want any rubbing or non-clearance issues. My car has the stock sport suspension with staggered wheels right now (7.5 up fron and 8.5 rear) - I fugure that the 17 x 8 et 35 will fit perfectly, just want to make sure before I buy.
If I go 17's I think I'll get 235/40's and with 18's 235/40's

I was looking at the Rondell R58's (17x8) or the Alutec Java (18x7.5) from the wheel exchange. And yes, once I get new wheels - I will sell my stockies.

Yes - they are the 5 spoke ones with the blue ring centercaps. Tires have maybe 4000 miles left. I am in Ontario - not too terribly far from you. I'm on the fence about getting wheels because my tires are about to go - and I figure it's the best time to change wheels.
