Detailed + New Euroteck CF Front Lip
Finally posting pics of my car in full. Sorry, there isnt a fancy backdrop. I was too lazy to drive it anywhere. Pictures are not the best quality either. I didnt bother messing with the camera settings.
Mod - the last 2 months
- New rims (thanks Blake)
- $400 detail (I know - expensive)
- Euroteck front lip

Maybe its me..but in those pics from the front, doesn't appear that your lip is installed correctly. Is it me or is it tilting back toward the rear of the car...especially the part of the lip on the sides of the car. Mine doesn't sit like that.

you could buy a buffer and wax for $100, then spend 2 hours and still have $300 in your pocket for your next mod.

The car looks beautiful. That $400 CAD? Still a very expensive detail job nonetheless. It's okay, I've seen $5k USD detail jobs, then again, on much more expensive cars.
I think your Eurotek spoiler looks very good and matches very well with the rest of the car. In the picture it seems to match very well with the grills in the AMG bumper.
In your third picture, the 3/4 view from the front of the car, the car looks very low in the front (due to the carbon fiber lip) yet higher in the back on the side skirts (since these areas don't have a lip). I'm wondering, do they have a lip for the side skirts? Then again, that may be overkill.
Beautiful, a properly modded car. Not overdone.

where did you see my car?
i put the lip on myself with the help of a few friends. as for a good shop in town, i have looked everywhere!!! the only real MB shop is on West 4th but they over charge and are not as good as they claim, i got ripped off on my bix setup. richmond has a lot of shops that are cheap but they dont exactly specialize in MB.

yep, $400 CDN. it is a lot and i will likely never do it again but it had to be done and i feel better about the car now so it's all good.
as for euro teck, they do not make for the sides or the rear. it would be cool to see what it would look like tho but it would be overkill.

@redfw203 - thanks!
yep. i got it off ebay - the guy was local. and i did give him a pic of it after i had it installed so it might be my car on there (if we are talking about the same grille).

If I were to ever mod my car, I'd stop right about where you're at right now. I think it's just right (like what Goldilocks would say).

hey patrick,
the lip is doing well. i havent gone in and out of any steep driveways yet...tomorrow will be the first day. the parking lot i park at for work has a bit of a dip so i will have to be very carefull. fingers crossed.
as for mods - i want euro strips and i plan on getting those soon and next year if i have the money i would like to install a navi but that would be the end of it. i was going to do some engine work buut it really isnt worth it. better of saving up for a c55 for my next car. thanks for the comments.

I wouldn't do the Eurostrips either, wouldn't that require changing the entire front bumper? How do you pop out the impact strips anyways? I've damaged one, do I need to take off the entire bumper?
I'm gonna cross my fingers for you as well for your parking dilemma.

patrick,
nope, euro strips are easy to install. you do not need to remove the bumper for that or the side markers. it's really easy to pop out. a little too easy if you ask me. just get a flat head and wrap a cloth around it and dig in and pop out. less than 1 min. the euro strips are a bit harder - but not much. take off the side markers, unplug the bumb then proceed to pop the entire strip off. if i can do it anyone can.
