Urgent help needed from those with DPE's
I just bought a set of used DPE's, did you use your stock bolts or did you have to get new ones. Did you need spacers? I didnt get any bolts or spacers from the previous owner so I used my stock bolts. The stock bolts seems too long, the wheels are still loose even though the bolts are fully tightened.
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

Both the front and rear are long, the wheels are 19x8F and 19x10r. I dont want to get spacers 'coz I dont want the wheels to stick out anymore. Where can I get the right lug bolts? How much do you think it would cost?

I use different set of bolts for my DPE. If I may suggest you, contact DPE reps and they will be more than happy to help you out, at least I had been helped a lot from Manu (DPE reps).
Btw, what style is your DPE?
Good luck

Went to a few wheels and auto parts store, none of them has it. Ordered a whole set of lug nuts from Carlab. It's odd that some use their stock and some had to use a different set of bolts. I was thinking maybe because of the model year but no, mine's an 04.5, someone with the same MY as mine used their stock bolts, someone with an 05 used different bolts and others use stock... what gives
DPE RO8's VS.
Thanks for the inputs.

according to todd at TM engineering you have to put ure stock bolts in ure new rims and measure how much they stick out, then "professionals, or at least ppl that have dealt with other C classes" will know how long the new ones need to be. At least thats what i had to do, before derrick at D2Auto just decided to send me free ones good luck!

the length of the lug bolt will vary depending on the thickness of the wheel pad, that's the center portion of the wheel, some are thicker than the stock wheels and will require longer lug bolts, thinner pads will require shorter bolts. A local wheel shop should know which ones you'll need, and don't act like you have no knowledge on what you need cuz you'll likely to get raped. goodluck.
