MERCEDEZ or BMW
hi guys, ive been in here for awhile, but now i have a decision to make. i currently have a 2003 c240 and i put alot of work in it.(as seen below, in addition i also added a cl grill and a flat emblem, pioneer indash dvd, 500 jl and a w7) now this is where it gets difficult, my sister wants my car and she has a 2006 bmw 325i sedan. should i trade or just keep my car. i want to keep my car because i ve put so much work into it and it looks great. nobody has the same setup as me, nevertheless the 325i sedan is tight. also i just wanted to know when is the completely new model of the c class coming out. any suggestion or advice would be very much appreciated.

WTH...that decision is sooooooo easy. TAKE THE 2006 325i if you don't plan to mod the C more.....no wait....TAKE THE 325i. unless some $$ is involved.

2002 MB C240 & 2004 ML 350
As one who has had many 3 series...and currently own an X3...i'm with everyone above
. Take the Bimmer.
P.S. Funny you mentioned that "nobody has the same set up." Incidentally, I too have a C240..however, its 02. But, Mine is silver with a CL style grill and flat emblem. Damn if I don't have a Pioneer headunit (AVIC Z1), sub and amp hook up...my wheel also looks just like yours...ASA ST4 17inch.
The part the cracked me up...just today i'm driving and thinking to myself that my C240 is unique cause nobody has my set up..

If there is no money involved trade the c240 for the 3 series. After a few months trade in the 3 series for the new c Class. It should be worth it. Plus if the 3 series is already paid off by your sister then you could get some serious money off the new c Class. Get a 2007 c350 instead of a 240.

Same here........I love Mercs but a 2006 325I vs a 2003 C240??? Your talking about a 50+ hp difference and a much better handling and communicative car. Take the BMW !!

Hey Bud, Go with the Bimmer. I have an E46 330, and a Bimmer Tech told me the new E90 325i has the same engine my E46 330 has.
My 330 stock had some 230 HP before modifications, compared to say- a 323 which is 170 HP (I suppose close to your HP) My 330 eats those things up for lunch regularly around the Atlanta Area. The only mod that will make you hang with +60hp is forced induction which = Much Money. Go for the Bimmer for a while then swap for a better MB! For now GO FOR +HP

Hold on to your C, since you have put some $$$ into it. The new 3 series is ok but it is a new model (poss problems) & most likely you would have to put some $$$ into it to make it to your liking...how about the 330i or wait for 335i or 328i
