C180 Kommmmmmpressor
It's time for the first mod
Got C180 non kompressor , started to feel slightly different while all these kompressors passing by.
2 options: Either to remove the C180 from the back, want to know if it will leave a scar and how to get it done, Or sticking "kompressor" or even c320 instead.
Any advices?

thats kinda like putting an AMG badge on there, dont ya think?! If your car physically can't back up the HP or any styling there of an AMG, there is no use for a badge.
Adding 'Kompressor" to the back follows the same as above... If your car can't back it up, your kinda makin a false statement only to appear 'cool'.
Your best bet is to take the C180 of with a hair blow dryer and a credit. Leave the dryer on each letter [do one at a time] for a few seconds [30+/-], it will heat up the adhesive and you can then slide an [old] credit card between the glue and body of the car. If done carefully and properly, no blemishes or scars will remain.
Good Luck!

i debadged my c240 from the back and it looks much cleaner. i used goo gone and since it was a nice and hot day i didn't need to heat up the sticky thing on the back. its just for show and i'm not trying to race anyone or to mislead anyone, just a personal prefernce

I say debadge but DO NOT rebadge with something that your car isn't. If you need instructions, I found this back in the day...pretty descriptive...only difference was I used waxxed dental floss instead of the credit card...

I debadged with just my hands and some compound with my finger to get off the rest of the residue. I was lucky it was only 101F the other day so it was extremely easy.
I suggest you remove your badging and don't put anyting back on. Just make people think you drive with care, try not to flip people off and always use the slow lane. Get some of those eye doctor sunglasses to further your point.

I think you should put an AMG and C65 badge on it along with a V12 biturbo badges on the side...then you'll really feel better about your car. j/k
its your car, enjoy it. who cares what other people think???

2003 c230k
can i get your c180 badge then?
because that is what my car REALLY is.
toss it in a package and mail it my way
(the 2003 US c230 is a 1.8 sc .... so it is REALLY a c180 kompressor)
