but this is the thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...-colors-4.html have some good nice colors :-)
I was told by an independent mechanic that it's impossible to get a used transmission because the transmission is programmed to the key.. something like that.
I asked him can't I just swap out my transmission with a used 07 low mile transmission. He said no each transmission is programmed to the specific key, you would have to get a new transmission. I guess he's a noob?
I really doubt the dealership would only change the conductor plate for me. From what I read, 7G/722.9 transmission they would replace the whole valve body. My indy called his dealership buddy and said conductor plate don't usually fail until 70,000. Since mines happen around 39,000, the friend said the transmission is bad. Typical dealership response.
The indy kept the car and drove around it hooked up to the computer and it showed the conductor plate is failing. He said it's not worth it to buy a new transmission, he said when i'm ready he'll erase the code from its history and I should trade it in.
You can ask rollnd where he bring his car to get fixed. They use a shop caled Hevon or something owned by guy name Serge.

I went with him because it was convenient. I figured out a strategy for my car to hardly not go into limp mode or get stuck. Although, it takes the fun out of driving knowing that it's there.
I should just invest in a MB Star Diagnostic Tool and just reflash it whenever it get stuck, so I can drive it normally without being precautious
