If you get rid of the pin strip than you most likely going to have a paint shade difference. Thats if the strip was on a long time. I had that happen on my Toyota years ago. I had to buff the paint out to get rid of it.

I'm not a fan of the chrome but if your car was mine, I'd sell the wheels and buy new ones. just my opinion.

A dark paint shade difference would still look better than the pinstripe with black wheels...besides you can just then buff it out as mentioned before at your leasure

Totally agree with you on this razorfish228. I'd save up the money, buy new wheels and sell these.

I'm not a big "chrome wheels" person either...although, a chrome lip is okay depending on the rims.

I like the wheels waveykat. Maybe if you get a real aggressive drop it might look better though. If you do paint them black it would look real nice too.

For what it's worth, I like the chrome and would leave it.

I like the look.

That drop really looks good! Hows the ride in the metro area with those?

Where did you get the Tein's from?

Very Nice! Wow these things are selling like crazy. Much better looking with the TEIN's. Did you get Super Streets or Basics?

flip, you're getting customers left and right.

I would raise it back up to make sure you can clear parking blocks and small children.

It looks awesome man. TEIN rules!

I was wondering if the clearance on the front bumper can make it up the Gas Station places and stuff around Queens. Mine isn't lowered but I had some times it got really close in hitting the lip when I wasn't going down the ramp sideways but straight forward.

But the drop looks nice and I'd consider getting them when I get new wheels. I still envy the guys on this board that buy HRE's. Those wheels are mad expensive.

Lol glad you like them (he got Basics drex). I have to say the car looks much better without that 4x4 look! . Daring to go a little lower?

flip,

you're not upselling peeps to the Super Streets? The adjustable dampening is definitely worth it! Just a little 411 from my end.

drex

ps...especially if they decide to bring back the possibility of upper pillowball mount and edfc compatibility.

It depends what the buyer really needs. In my case, I just want a no-fuss height adjustable suspension. The Basic c/o's accomplish that for much less than the Super Streets. I have a feeling I would have set the dampening settings to almost exactly what the Basics are set to by TEIN, so why pay more?
