LHD = left hand drive; ie european, North amercican cars.

RHD = right hand drive; ie UK, Australia, Asia, etc.

the lights have to be different for each RHD or LHD.

the angle of the light raises on the opposite side traffic would be onciming to your vehicle.

LHD cars the lights angle up to the right side and vice versa for RHD cars.

LHD _____/
RHD \_____

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
Most everyone who installs Bi-xenon lamps on their cars neglects to also install the automatic leveler system and the heated headlamp washer. Mercedes does not put those components on their cars because they are cool, it is because they are forced by rules in the EU.

The leveling system has a sensor on the front and rear axel that compensate the height of the beam automatically. The washer system is required because schmutz (dirt) on the outside of the housing can cause the light to be distracting to oncoming traffic.

I would not tell you that you must install these components, as many with converted lamps do not, but you should know these parts are needed for a complete system. You might ask if the person selling the lamps will pass along the other goodies.

Mine fronts used to rub on hard corners with the stock 17's! I haven't done anything to my suspension, but the fronts still rub occasionally when I'm cornering hard.

Depends on the offset and what size tires you're running.

What? Phil, that shouldn't be happening at all! You know what, whenever it is you get the springs, you should have that checked out. BTW, I'm going to get the quote for you tomorrow for sure! Lemme know if you want to roll out there with my cousin and I. He's getting his EVO aligned by the place. We're goin' as early as possible in the morning.

yeah, well I'm not 100% sure it's rubbing as I don't really know what rubbing is per se. but when I take turns pretty damn fast, the I'll feel like a jerky sensation that is akin to when you go over a pothole, so I thought that that was rub...

thanks for the invite drex, I'm not sure I can make early as possible (esp. in el monte). but if you could let me know, I'm totally interested, and now I'm looking into vogtland springs.

Oh, okay. Don't worry. You're not rubbing. If you were rubbing, you would be able to hear the tires hitting against the wheel well. The only comparible sound that I could think of is when a zipper gets zipped (but just a lot faster and for a longer time frame).

The jerky sensation might be the esp kicking in, depending on how fast and how hard the turn is.

I'm figuring we'll head to El Monte around 830 or 9am, but that could change (depending on whether we go out tonight). I'll hit you up later on the cell. You in downtown or Cent.City today?

ah, I thought it was esp, but I've never seen the light turn on in those situations... but cool, I'm hoping it isn't rubbing.

I'm in Cent.City today.
