If anyone thinks posting here is a farce, they are invited to post elsewhere.

Staff tries to be tolerant of your privilege (not right) to post your opinion, and so keep this thread open. I trust everyone appreciates that. However, keep the conversation civil, or this thread will be closed.

As a Super Moderator maybe you could bring it up in the moderator forum. Either a seperate new section like the Tech Talk section, or sub-sections for some of the more active sections (W203 for example), for instance:
W203
W203->DIY
W203->Performance/Technical
W203->Appearance/Care
W203->Gallery/Show'nShine/Pics

This way when Drex and other mods are cleaning up new and old threads, thye could move them into the sub-sections and that may help alleviate some of the redundant questions.

I'll bring it up in our secret hiding spot.

I think that might be too much to keep track of. Perhaps one per model might be more manageable.

Which would be great if we could ignore moderators. Trust me, I've tried. I do agree with the general consensus that getting amd to be a kindler, gentler member would be as helpful to noobies as pointing out the general usefulness of the search button. Whether mods like it or not, they by definition are held to a higher standard. Or at least should be by the owners of the website they monitor.

This is a forum. FORUM. Not IRAN where you cannot voice your opinions. Stop acting as if you control a FORUM. I DO HAVE A RIGHT TO MY OPINION. Called freedom of speech. There has not been anything derogatory in any posts, just because you do not like my opinions you will shut down a thread? This isnt **** GERMANY. If I dont like a certain MB and you do will my thread be deleted? Dont be ridiculous. Get off your high horses and just moderate. Look up the word FORUM in the dictionary:

-A public meeting or assembly for open discussion

-An online discussion group, where participants with common interests can exchange open messages.

-Meeting or part of meeting set aside for an open discussion by recognized participants on subjects of public interests.

Get it right guys, get off our backs.

It should actually be less to keep track off, since the threads will be more organized, and there'd be fewer in each section to weed through than all in 1 big section. The biggest hassle would be keeping threads in the right section.

The gains in organization may outweigh the additional hassle. The same concept works very well on other forums, notably www.mp3car.com where I find it works the best to orgnize info, the search function there works awesome despite the huge volume of info.

Its a sponsored private forum to be 100% correct, there is no truely public forum on the internet as someone has to pay to host it.

Smarten up before this thread gets lcked, there's been some good ideas and I'd like to see RBreton and other mods discuss this in the moderator forums and maybe report back if any of the ideas are possible.

Gentlemen, please go to the index page of this forum and scroll to the lower right (list of moderators). I believe the individual you question has removed himself (or been removed?) from this forum. Been that way for a couple days now. You guys are beating a dead horse.

So I am done posting. I am not the only one who feels like this, take note. Either you are blind or just dont care. Not a way to get new members in my opinion.

Ok OK, I am done ranting. I may be blocked, but oh well. Done with this site.

honestly.....a little more that i did previously! That was a pretty good one!

but try to sum up individual groups of come backs in a single post...and if you post and forget something, just edit the existing post. Having multiple posts in a row from the same user confuses readers and takes away from the effect of the posts that get stuck in the middle
