I think that might be too much to keep track of. Perhaps one per model might be more manageable.

The gains in organization may outweigh the additional hassle. The same concept works very well on other forums, notably www.mp3car.com where I find it works the best to orgnize info, the search function there works awesome despite the huge volume of info.
