CLS500 Stock 18" on (W203)

Has anyone done this? I've searched and can only find these rims on a E Class besides the CLS500 of course.

But according to some sellers on ebay these wheels will fit an 05 C240 and other models as well.

Just wonderding if anyone has put these on their ride. Chrome or silver finish.

Just off the top of my head, the only thing I would assume is the same would be the bolt pattern, but I'm not even positive about that.

That being said, I suggest sending an email to the vendor selling the rims specifically asking for:

- Wheel sizes specifically (front and rear), i.e. 18X? F&R
- Wheel offsets

If the sizes come in the same or similar to the standard 18's that have worked with the w203, then you are good to go. Simple solution. If they can't give you that info or don't know the info, I wouldn't even bother considering buying from a vendor that's selling wheels.

according to what the description reads, here are the specs.

Wheel Size Front: 18"x 8.5 28mm offset

Wheel Size Rear: 18"x 9.5 33mm offset

Bolt Pattern: 5 x 112

Offset is wrong. Won't work with a big brake kit.

Will not work

For the C class ONLY C & E will work... for E class it can takes S CLS and so on...

I personally have a E 18' AMG on my C and that's the MAX. as far as OEM / AMG

Drex, forgive my ignorance but i called the ebay seller/dealer directly and I told him that the offset doesn't appear to be correct in fitting with a 05' C240 Sedan. He double checked something and then told me confidently that they would fit perfectly without a spacer.

What question am I not asking or what is it there not telling me?

makes your daughter horny
I seem to remember someone saying they used the CLS rims on a C and he said it was fine however the offset was very aggresive.. maybe try a search?

I wouldn't deem any of the info from those ebay sellers as reliable...

Oh, you have an '05 240? So that means you don't have big brakes up front. In that case, the seller may be right.

to be honest. I don't know how big the brakes are up front. All i know is it's a stock sedan 05' C240. Not a 4matic or kompressor just a plain stock setup I guess.

So you think they would work? The dealer did say if it was a 4matic it definately would not fit.

Well, if it were a 4-Matic, running a staggered setup is not good for performance.

If you have the big brakes up front, they would be cross drilled and you would have calipers that say Mercedes Benz or AMG. If it is the stock w203 sedan rotors, then they are most likely not big brakes.

OEM/Stock Sport Sedan brakes are cross-drilled and big brake upgrades, so it's not about the brakes being stock vs. non-stock. It's the size of the calipers that you have to take into consideration. If your stock brake calipers are the luxury versions and are not like the Sport Sedans (i.e. smaller), then it should be alright.

4matic is powered by all 4 wheels. If you have a staggered setup, you're running smaller tires in the front than the rear. This becomes counter productive (especially if the awd % is balanced 50F/50R).

In a rear wheel drive car, the car is powered by the rear wheels. With bigger tires in the rear, more rubber allows the rear-powered wheels to have better traction.

I have heard of some AWD/4WD cars that run a reverse staggered setup, due to the power balance being geared more to the front than the rear (i.e. 60%f/40%r), but haven't seen it actually in person.

That's as basic an explanation as I can give.

Why? Are your Brabus reps staggered?
