Factory sub is located in the rear parcel shelf. I don't think the original amp can handle 2 ohm load since original speaker has 4 ohm impedance. Beside, it's hard to find door speaker or splits that goes lower than 4 ohm.

I think the Bose one has 2 ohm impedance. I cannot think any aftermarket split that run at 2 ohm. Perhaps the old Orion HCCA (Beast!!) or Infinity?? It's fine to run 4 ohm speaker given the factory is 2 ohm, the amp will run cooler albeit the speaker wil see less power. Are u planning to add aftermarket amp??

I found from the web, JBL has 2ohms speakers "Grand Touring Series" sounds not too bad, acutally my one is not BOSE system, just MBenz stereo - Audio 10 with 6 discs CD changer. but I can hear/feel that there has a sub installed otherwise the bass can't be like that if only output by speakers.

I just wonder if I could just remove the speakers cover of the door then install the JBL one? its that easy?

You drive the sedan right?? If that is the case you cannot simply remove the speaker cover, the cover is melted down to hold in place. You have to remove the whole door trim, fairly easy to do. Be carefull if u decide to put the 2 ohm speaker, Audio 10 AFAIK is powered by the hu, even some aftermarket amp struggle to run 2 ohm by 2 channel.

tks for all info, I checked last nite and I found the subs / speakers location, seems removal of the door panel a bit difficult and I just don't want to break any parts of it..................... maybe I will check with my garage see how to get it done.

one more question if I changed to Xenon headlight, is that simply get one from dealer/shop and re-set the computer? tks once again..

Door panel removal is not hard. Search the forum, i've got some instructions on there with some pics also.
