I'm impressed you were able to do the install yourself! Do you have access to a lift or did you just use a jack? What about the spring compressor? I'd never have the guts to try it myself.

I was thinking the same thing, B. Without a spring compressor...I wouldn't have the guts to install myself either.

Bringing back to the main topic, Anybody in New York can help a fellow member out for install shops?

If NJ near GW bridge works for you, call Harry from Bergen Imports @ 201-943-2915 and see how much he wants for this job. He did my PSS9 a few year ago.

You can borrow a spring compressor from autozone for free just leave a CC for safety deposite...used it when I helped my buddy replace his struts

Its not exactly a web site. More like "web presence".

If you're looking for reasonable prices, Joisey is really the place to go. Just hold your nose.

Couple of options:
Action Tire in Lodi www.actiontire.com
IMP in Clifton www.imp-auto.com
Freedman Tire in Edison (732) 985-2211

Action Tire has done work on my cars, and they're a typical install shop
IMP did my swap in my crx, and have worked on the Benz too. They're more into racing setups, but will do easy stuff too
Freedman installed my Eibach suspension, and charged me $300-350 or so, I think. Jake, the owner, is into Benzes, and many e46fanatics members have been really happy with his work as well.

I'd recommend Freedman; probably the cheapest of the lot, and you can go to the mall afterwards and start your Xmas shopping. But Action and IMP are closer to the city.

If you are willing to go to Joisey, try Autosport Performance in Englewood. They do nothing but hi-end cars. Prices are reasonable, quality work and really nice clean shop. Ask for TY. Tell him John with the black benz sent you. If you're interested,IM me and I'll give you more info
